  1. Having just watched this, i don't remember there being a clear and definite answer to this. Everybody can read steiner but it never specifically says why Okabe can remember everything clearly and without need for something or someone to jog his memory. I think there are a couple of possible solutions to the question. (This is based solely on the anime, the manga may have a definite answer). Okabe is the first person chronologically to split the timeline. It was his phone which caused it in the first place. Okabe has adopted the personality of hououin kyouma and because of this detachment from his true self he's able to see the world from a broader perspective (like we are as the viewer this is the version i choose to believe). According to the Steins;Gate movie, Okabe was affected by time travel before the events of Steins;Gate, which could have caused him to be more open to accepting the possibility of different world lines.
  2. Most of them have been recommended to me at some point yeah. I have a friend who's been watching for years. So now i'm certain I like anime, i'm doing more of my own research for the following shows (although there're loads of sequels atm for the shows i've been watching so I could just watch them too :P)
  3. Hey guys! Dan here. I just signed up. Looking for new people to talk with. I'm a fairly new anime watcher (in the last year or so) and after going off of most TV shows because they're all pretty awful now, so anime is beginning to replace them. I started with Death note and since then have watched FMA: Brotherhood, Tokyo Ghoul, Elfen Lied, My Hero Academia, Castlevania, Attack on Titan, Kakegurui, Made in Abyss, and most recently, Steins;Gate (which i think is my favourite so far). I also play loads of videogames, and am English, if that's of interest to anyone!
