I have a scenario i'd like to share with everyone. I posted it on comic vine awhile ago but i didn't get many responses. Maybe it will be different here. I changed quite bit because i'm interested to see how all of this could play out with new characters. Tell me how all of you could see this playing out:
Here is a hypothetical scenario...the universe's horizon explodes in which 99 trillion 6 paths of pain invaded every single corner of our solar system. They're all capable of jumping from planet to planet and they all desire to bring pain to the universe. They all are capable of working without Nagato and each one of the 99 trillion 6 paths of pain have 9000xtimes the normal chakra. Each of the 99 trillion 6 paths of pain have Rinne Sharingans AND each of the 99 trillion 6 paths of pain have also acquired MUI (Mastered Ultra instinct) that works in tandem with their Rinne Sharingan. All the paths have MFTL speed.
Okay so here is the deal: There are several factions that are working in our favor:
The Justice League all new 52 members.
All of the Yu Yu Hakusho main cast.
The X-men
All of the Soul society main cast from Bleach and Strenritter (allied temporarily)
All the Infinity war heros.
Inuyasha's Group, Sesshomaru and The Band of 7(Allied temporarily).
Neo from the Matrix.
The 4 Hokage
Rwby and her squad. (Rwby)
Medaka Kurokami (Altered god mode) and Misogi Kumagawa
Dissidia Heroes
9 tails chakra Naruto
Post Kage Summit Sasuke
The Entire Shinobi Alliance
All past Avatars in Avatar and Korra:
All tournament of Power contestants.
vs
And finally US. We are inserted into this madhouse of nonsense crazy war in which we have our own powers based off the previous factions. We can choose 5 powers from each faction currently in play.
These guys 99 trillion times in a pack of 6. Remember: They have Mastered Ultra Instinct, 9000x times the normal chakra, Rinne Sharingans and their Speed is MFTL. (Massively Faster Than Light)
If none of you are sure about powers look up each faction i posted power and abilities.
No rest period for anyone.
Could we survive? If not how far do we go? How many Pains do we take out? How far do the factions make it? Can we win? I need an opinion here.
Once you have yourself inserted into The Almighty Alliance, tell us how you would handle such a invasion. Where do you go? Who do you interact with first as an ally? How did you die? If you live how did you work with your allies to overcome such massive odds?
I would try to hangout with Inuyasha's group as much as possible until death.

I have collected anime over a long time, so similar to my video game collection, I probably have more than enough to keep me happy watching and rewatching for years. As for format...I'm trying to target blurays when available. I have plenty of DVDs (especially of the old stuff) but my collection started with VHS (Tenchi Universe on VHS and Yu Yu Hakusho on VHS - hung onto Tenchi...had the movies on VHS fof Tenchi too) and soon after I got those, VHS died out and everything went to DVD (my old VHS player doesn't even work anymore!) Had to repurchase the anime on DVD so I could watch it again. That might never happen with DVDs, but better to go ahead and spend a little extra now than be left high and dry later.
Other than that, I stream a little on Crunchyroll and occasionally Funimation. Rarely on Netflix but I used to be big on Hulu. If you do a lot of streaming however it can be the cost of a new anime added to your collection every month so I cut back (I budget for my anime. Everything has a cost). I do prefer my DVDs and Blurays. No internet required, easy to fast forward, great extras and trailers to watch to see what else is out there... definitely has its perks.
I agree with the perks of DVDs! I still have a functioning VHS player! hehe

I am wondering where and/or how do you guys watch your Anime. Do you guys watch on a streaming website? Or do you download everything and watch on your pc? Netflix?
Any answers are truly appreciated! I might not be using the best watching "format"!

Some people actually prefer the original series which covers a lot of the same material, but with a different emphasis on certain events and the story winds up going in significantly different directions, so you might want to check out both. Personally, I preferred Brotherhood which is supposed to follow the manga more closely.
Ohhh I see! I read something on this because of your reply and I think I am also going with Brotherhood!

Rin-ne is by the same group that did Inuyasha so I highly advise you check it out. Other than that, some old ones you might want to catch would be Outlaw Star, Moribito, Escaflowne... some newer ones I'd recommend would be Log Horizon, Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, and Beyond the Boundary.
Already checked the synopses and all of those look really interesting! Much appreciated!!

Hello, everyone!
First of all, I want to say that I am so glad I found this forum. A lot of helpful and interesting content!
I just got (really) into Anime and it's overwhelming how much there is out there! Before these last 2-3 weeks, all I had watched was Inuyasha (only a few episodes) and that was 10 years ago, when I was 13.
I have now watched Death Note, Berserk (old one) and am currently watching Inuyasha (still not even halfway through! :D). I just love these 3 stories so much!
Some friends of mine have given me a few recommendations but I am looking for a few more!
What are some really good Anime stories?
Thank you!

Haven't read any yet D:
Will be Berserk pretty soon!
(I also accept any good ideas for purchases! >)

I only got into the amazing world of anime very recently, but, so far, I really loved Berserk, Death Note and Inuyasha are my "favourites" (still haven't finished Inuyasha - which I watched for the first time around 10 years ago haha).
Presenting the 99 trillion 6 Paths of Pain!
