If I'm not sleeping or eating I'm probably doing one of the following: listening to Burzum in the dark; recalling moments from Gintama and laughing to myself; spending hours making a Spotify playlist only to delete it a few days later; dreaming of a rose-coloured campus life.

I'm struggling to pick things to write about for this section, so I'm just gonna write about my history with anime.

I grew up watching early Pokemon and Digimon on VHS tapes. Since they were hard to find at the time, I didn't finish either. But I was never that big of a fan of them anyway, because I was more familiar with the classic cartoons that my dad likes (specifically Hannah Barbera and Tex Avery). After growing out of these shows at around age 11, I instead spend more time watching YouTube and playing vidya. A few years later (at around age 13), I learned what "anime" is, and its new appeal to me. Specifically through cute girls and romance shows like Noucome and Clannad. From always being rejected by girls, these shows were my way of replacing that. I also got big into reading doujinshi.

I slowly stopped watching these shows to devote more time to vidya (age 14) and then music (ages 15 and 16). Also started to watch more porn with real porn actresses made me start preferring videos over still images At around age 16, I would discover the /mu/ board on 4chan. Then I would branch out to /r9k/, where I would constantly see pictures of anime girls being posted. This then triggered my old love for doujinshi and cute girls. At age 18 I'm still into anime, and it's appealing to me in more ways then it used to. My favourites list is evidence enough for this.
