Thank you so much, I saw this anime years ago and could not for the life of find out the name, huge help, you are awesome

I'm trying to find the name of an anime I started but never got to finish. There was a space ship that came to earth and announced the earth was theirs and they where the children of earth. The aliens look like white haired elven, the main character was a boy and his father was the president at the time of the invasion, the aliens asked for the code to the main weapons and he gave them access, that's all I can remember for now, if you have any ideas please let me know
