About Me
友樹 he/him/his they/them/theirs Japanese-American
I believe that no one person and no one thing can be perfect in any way, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep trying to improve upon ourselves. What it means, to me, is that there's no point in trying to become perfect, nor is there any point in trying to create perfection, and that, even if I've done wrong, or have made mistakes, I'm not unworthy of happiness.
The best version of yourself still has faults, and so is the best version of everyone else. The best version of your greatest creation has faults, and so does everything else ever created. There is no reason to lament your lack of perfection or to throw away everything in the pursuit of it because it is simply impossible.
I want to be my best self, and for everyone to be their best selves, but ultimately, all things are flawed, and that is no crime.
