Natesakaar

Hi guys I need help naming an anime. I watched it on TV back in the 90s. All I remember is that a man was stood in a field waiting for a monster to come out of the trees. When the monster came out of the trees it roared and the shock wave from the long roar started to peel off the man's clothes and skin. Please help me the title. Its been driving me mad for years!!!!
