Anyone else watching anime edits and cosplays on tiktok

I’ve been running into a ton of anime stuff on tiktok — things like amv-style edits, meme clips, and people doing cosplay skits. some of them are surprisingly well-done and kind of addictive to watch.

do you guys use tiktok for anime content, or do you feel it doesn’t really add much compared to forums, youtube, or other spaces? curious if anyone here has found creators who are worth checking out.

It’s kind of like the regular TikTok app but with fewer content restrictions, so you end up seeing more fan edits, cosplay clips, and experimental anime content that wouldn’t always stay up on the main app. It’s been getting a lot of attention among anime and meme edit communities recently — though it’s only available through third-party sites, not the Play Store.

Do you edit mainly for the regular TikTok, or have you tried uploading on TikTok 18 too?

By the way, have you come across Tiktok18? from https://protiktok18.com/ It’s similar to the regular TikTok app but with fewer content limits, so you’ll often see more cosplay, AMVs, and experimental anime edits that wouldn’t always stay up on the main platform. It’s been gaining a lot of traction among anime and meme edit fans lately, though it’s only available through third-party sources.
