Do you guys ever imagine your own anime story?

Sometimes I randomly think of plot ideas… like full arcs and characters lol.
But then I realize… yeah I’m not making a game or anything 
Anyone else does this or am I just unemployed behavior?

I am doing that too, always watching it and sometimes thinking about how to make it better.

Never doing as it's too much work, and never good at creating something, only my fantasies.

Just to cope up with the fact that I can create games too - Tried creating a game about a guy who is into cooking and is the love interest of three girls but he loves cooking.

All the time honestly lol. I think anyone who watches enough anime naturally starts building their own worlds in their head. Mine usually ends up being some mix of dark fantasy and slice of life which probably makes no sense but it works in my imagination. The hardest part is always figuring out the power system and making sure it doesn't feel like a copy of something that already exists. That game idea sounds fun though, a cooking guy with a love triangle but he's just obsessed with food is actually a pretty fresh angle!
