Howdy. It's CaptainKlingon. Sixth-generation Texan here. Happy to make your acquaintance.

Now you might be wondering why a guy named CaptainKlingon has the Superman shield as his profile pic. First off, I'm a huge fan of Supes. He's my all-time favorite superhero. The guy stands for truth, kindness, justice, believing someone can change for the better, and just downright being a good law-abiding citizen. Some would call this "the American Way", but I'm sure we're not the only one.

My anime tastes are rather vast and eclectic. It ranges from action like Voltron, Gundam Wing, and DragonBall Z to romance like Golden Time and the Dangers in My Heart. I also love sci-fi anime, particularly Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, and the aforementioned action titles I mentioned. Among the anime titles I own are Outlaw Star, Akira, and the first Ghost in the Shell movie.

My first exposure to proper anime was watching Voltron on the tv in an area meant for kids at a grocery store when I was five years old. I thought it was so cool! That also happened to be the year Superman became my favorite comic book character of all time. I don't care what anybody says. We need Superman as a character, particularly as something we can aspire to. He's called "the Big Blue Boy Scout" for a reason, and it's not to score touchdowns. (But he was good at that, too, as seen in Smallville.) Humanity can and should always strive to be better, both to ourselves and to each other. I love other superheroes like Batman, Wonder Woman, the Green Lantern, Captain America, the Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man, but for me, Supes is tops. I love both DC and Marvel, but because of the Man of Steel, I'm forever a DC guy.
