some of you recommeded sushi and ramen, and for a Japanese deeply in love with Japanese food and culture, I can't agree anymore. But I also recommend you to try Japanese omurice, with the cut-open fried egg on top of rice, often used with Japanese curry sauce. Its my comfort food ever since I was a kid.
