  1. I've seen a lot of strong opinions about many Shounen titles, but everyone seems to have an opinion based on different criteria and expectations of what makes a Shounen great. Is it fair to base all Shounen Anime / Manga expectations on a few popular titles even if the stories and overall vibes are vastly different in many ways? Or is it like the Isekai genre where repetition is expected with slight variances?
  2. What Anime villain would you chill with no matter how evil or sadistic? Some are wicked cool no matter how much they burn the world. I would chill with Ryomen Sukuna or Suguru Geto from Jujutsu Kaisen. Although both are seeking to destroy the world as we know it, I can't help but think they would be a lot of fun for at least most of the night before becoming total a-holes. I would even hang with Lady Clemintine from Overlord.
  3. What was the earliest Anime movie you remember watching? I have three actually that started it all: My Neighbor Totoro Little Nemo Akira * * I watched Akira before I turned 10 btw :D
  4. I would have to say Moeyo Ken for sure. The story is all over the place and the characters are insufferable. This is what most non-anime fans see as anime, to put it in perspective. Totally gag-worthy.
  5. Great list! I love diverse anime fans. I've gotten into Macross in recent years. I really enjoy the plot of the original first season. There are a few there I really want to check myself.
  6. Anime has been around longer than most "trendy", semi, or hardcore fans would care to acknowledge. On the flip side, there are many rooted fans that refuse to explore anything new. Always go in with little to no preference or expectations when exploring Anime because you never know what you might be missing. If you're into Old School Anime; What is a watch-worthy title and what newer title have you been curious about? OR If you're only into New School Anime; What is a watch-worthy title and what older title have you been curious about?
