  1. I been trying for several years now to find an anime I caught part of several years earlier. I think (am not certain) I watched it on Funimation back then, probably somewhere around 2018/2019. I been trying to find it since at least 2021 so it was released prior to that at least 1 or 2 years. It was English dubbed, which eliminates any non-dubbed shows. All I remember of it is this: The setting was medieval-era fantasy, I am nearly certain it included magic. I am uncertain if it was an isekai or reincarnation or neither. A group was traveling via (I am nearly certain on this) horse-drawn cart, I think not a wagon because I think it had no canvas top. I forget how many people were in the group, but I think it was focused around a main male character. They were traveling to a dwarf village which was in a cavern, but the dwarves were not there because their city was invaded by (I think) werewolves or similar. The group found the dwarves and drove out the invaders. I remember an underground chasm with a rope & plank bridge being part of the end of the battle, though I could be confusing this with a different show but I think not. I remember no names of characters, nor any aspect of their appearance beyond a vague memory of the main character resembling a typical anime Japanese male (human-looking, black hair, not huge & muscly but perhaps more of a typical late high-school or early adult age). Last, I am not completely certain of what I remember because I could potentially be mixing bits of different shows, but I think not. Any of you know what show I am describing?
  2. Your topic title and 1st post are my thoughts exactly. I hope you can find friendship & happiness.
  3. I definitely wonder this of myself. Mind me asking why you are wondering? Though, such a question is probably inappropriate to ask publicly, so no obligation to answer.
  4. Asking "Am I too old for anime?" is the same as asking "Am I too young for live-action?", which is a stupid question. Would the people who say "OMG, you still watch anime at (insert your age)?" also say "OMG, you began watching live-action at (insert your age)?" Concepts such as 'target audiences' are useful for creating a show to primarily be enjoyed by or of use to a specific group of people, but that is where it should end. Such concepts should never be used to judge a person. If you enjoy it and it is not forcing harm on other people then other people should stfu. If other people think it acceptable to judge you by their beliefs and force them on you, then it becomes acceptable for you to do the same, so really you should be forcing those people to watch anime.

I rarely find people tolerable, and people rarely find me tolerable. I am not a person who thinks having 1000000 friends is important. Or 1000 friends. Or 10. But I love anime, so perhaps I can find a new friend here. I am presently crying through Magical Girl Raising Project.
