I'm not super experienced with horror, but Kings Game was very scary. Think about an anime where you really love and want to see the characters develop their relationships, and then make then play SAW to save each other. Kings Game, terrifying. I wouldn't watch it if your under 21 though, it's pretty intense.

Darn I remember reading a description that sounds like that. Something about an artist who lives on an island slice of life genre for sure

The second looks like love hina but I dont recognize the cat, very similar artwork though could be another from the same studio

Hello there! I'm 29 M and also in cali! Sorry I was trying to do my own intro post but I wound up here instead lol. I just finished haganai i dont have many friends and was sad it was over so j wanted to talk anime with some people! I like a lot of different shows but I have to say I love the slice of life ones about friends, I'd definitley reccomend haganai for that genre.
