I feel ashamed of myself, I had forgotten about them...

Hello everyone, I am Archer, (real original right?) a quasi-student who is far to interested in anime for his own good. I am a pianist and speak no languages other than English, however I can read enough Latin and Koine Greek to get by in a pinch. I like books of almost all kinds, classical music(Rachmaninoff especially), Star Wars, and cooking. I can't draw my way out of a wet paper bag, but I try. As for anime genres, I prefer romance, psychological, fantasy, comedy, and the occasional ecchi. On the other hand, I tend to stay away from mecha, horror, and thriller, however; I am not completely opposed to any genre. Angel Beats, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Toradora, the entire Monogatari series, and Charlotte are my top five favorite anime, in descending order. My favorite protagonist is either Bell from Danmachi, or Okabe from Steins;Gate. My favorite antagonist is L from Death Note, and favorite sidekick, Genos from One Punch Man. Oh, and my favorite Waifu would be Nao Tomori from Charlotte. I am trying to keep up with about a dozen current anime, and mostly failing, but my favorite this season is a tie between ERASED and KonaSuba. I found the forum by, typing in "anime forum" in Bing, and Poof! here I am. From the articles I have already read, and the welcome I have received, it looks like this is an active and friendly community. I hope to get along with you all, Archer

My favorite would probably be Taiga x Ryuji from Toradora, with Kousei x Kaori(if they count) from Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, being a close runner-up.

I think chibis are cute and a comical aspect to a character that couldn't be expressed any other way. However; they can be overused and misplased. Himouto Umaru-chan is a good example of where chibis fit in well on a large scale.
