I'm Spungle the Rungle. I'm here irregularly on the forums, because I'd like a more slow-paced way of living and interacting. Engaging with people directly is a bit much, as I have an addictive personality and will gladly start a seven hour call at the slightest provocation. I grew up on competitive Pokemon forums. I see this anime forum as a pleasant return to form for me.
I love almost all the different genres of Japanese media. Outside of that, I enjoy spirituality, Eastern and military philosophy, psychology, strategy, power politics, literature written in other time periods, producing music, writing poetry, and various other eclectic things.
I'd like to enjoy the atmosphere here. And maybe make some friends while I'm around. It's a bit of a long shot, but someone who's also extremely passionate about refining their creative pursuits, who adjusts the details of their personality and charisma based on cherrypicked influences, or who likes to study similar philosophies, would be especially delightful, as those are my own passion projects. I also analyse everyone I meet in detail, and keep a loose record and grouping of all the personality types I see. I enjoy analysing social dynamics. I tend to end up in a teacher role in most of my friend circles, which is one of the reasons Onizuka is visible on my profile. I'd like to break that pattern a bit. But based on what I'm saying here, it sounds like I'm provoking it again, doesn't it? I just have plenty to share from unusual sources, some of those sources mine and some wiser than myself. And plenty of time to share them.
I love comedy in all forms. That's another thing usually attached to me, but I don't think I need a break in that pattern. My background contains multiple cultures, but I'm mostly British. My friends call me their mother, but I'm a man in my 20s. Good to meet you all.
