Help finding an anime I loved.

I am really hoping that someone in this amazing anime community can help me.

I really loved the anime that I am trying to find... I'm quite annoyed with myself that I forgot what it was called.. It was my teenage hood favorite.

The anime is quite old. I am gonna say I probably watched it 2015-2017 (maybe older).

It was about this boy in an all boys school, goes on a school trip. An all girls school ends up on the same trip. There loads of funny comedy and drama between this guy and his 2 friends vs the girls (quite a few female characters). Slowly all the girls become very fond of him over time. You get to know majority of the female character.

That's not the main story.

The main story is that this girl from the future come back in time and appears on the school bus and in the girls uniform. No one knows where she came from but assumes she was there the whole time but did not notice. She comes back in time to be with the main boy character.. as they were lovers in another life. They eventually fall in love again and remember their past life together. Their first life together isn't really shown much. they get a second chance!

The universe does not approve of their second chance. He gets hurt and the only way to save him is for her to go back to the future. he will forget her again. Which is how it ends.

there was also a side story about this place on the school trip about this lady who waited for her husband to return and he never did. Famous cliff monument.

The anime had a lot going on in it...

- school trip boy and girls drama + comedy

- romance and crushes

- Lovers reincarnated and reunited with a second chance.

- Old cliff side story

 

Any help finding this old anime would be appreciated. None of my friends can seem to find it

Some caveats/disclaimers: the series is considerably older (the early 2000s) & the main story is  only the focus for the final couple of eps, for the most part the series is a rather ecchi comedy with lots of fanservice if I remember correctly. That’s probably why you’ve had difficulty finding it (plus it’s rather obscure).
