Ryan-trovert
We all have that one game everyone seems to love... but when you played it, it just didn’t live up to the hype. Some games just don’t hit the same for everyone. For me, it was Sid Meier's Civilization series. I understand why some people like it. I can see why you can get hooked, but I just didn't get it. And I love strategy and simulation games. I preferred games like the Total War series. But I do want to give it another go in the future. So what game did you try based on the hype, only to walk away disappointed?

ahiksi
It's funny how we get asked for our opinions on games we think are overrated, but people can't stand hearing different opinions so much that they downvote them rather than encourage people to express their opinions. Oldtaku
Any Grand Theft Auto game. It just doesn’t interest me at all. funny enough I had similar misgivings about Red Dead Redemption 2 until I actually sat down and put some hours into it, but I think rootin’ tootin’ cowboy shootin’ is a much better overall theme
LabMemberX
I don't wanna bash on Inscryption but.... I wish it had better art and more card classes. Horror and card games are a good combo though.

Remember how we were all waiting for it and how disappointed we were when it came out with a bunch of bugs? Heavenly_Garden
Any From Software game. They have great atmosphere and worldbuilding. But the gameplay of these games are just hard for the sake of being hard. Trying to dodge an attack in a millisecond invisible frame everytime is exhausting, not fun. Taps_kamidere
Fortnight, I got into the game when the first releases jjk skins and I played for a while I collected anime skins and Miku skins but it felt like I wasn't having fun and I was just spent too much money. I don't enjoy the game play either more of an open world person I prefer genshin and Terraria, terraria is underrated.
