Eurovision 2026 – who do you honestly see winning?

Hey everyone. I’ve been following Eurovision 2026 a bit more closely lately, and the more I look at it, the more it feels like one of those years where there isn’t a completely obvious winner yet. From what I’ve seen so far, Finland seems to be the country people mention most often as the current favorite, with France and Denmark usually not too far behind. Eurovisionworld also has Finland leading at the moment, which is interesting, but I still don’t get that “this is 100% the winner” feeling from this edition. What makes it more interesting to me is that this feels like the kind of year where rehearsals and staging could completely change the conversation. Some entries look strong on paper, but Eurovision is full of songs that only really click once you see the full performance. On the other hand, there are always a few songs that get a lot of early hype and then suddenly feel much smaller once they hit the actual stage. That’s why I’m trying not to treat the current predictions as anything fixed.

Also, maybe it’s just me, but this season feels a little quieter than some previous years. I’m seeing discussion, obviously, but not the same sense of one massive runaway favorite dominating everything. That probably makes this edition more fun, because it leaves more room for surprise. So I’m curious how other people are reading it right now.

Who do you actually think could win Eurovision 2026?
Are you buying the current Finland/France/Denmark narrative, or do you think someone else could jump up once rehearsals start?

One thing I’ve also noticed is that even the current predictions and odds don’t seem that decisive this year.

Finland is still the favourite in most betting lists, but the lead doesn’t feel untouchable. France and Denmark are close enough to make it interesting, and Australia / Greece also seem to be hanging around the top group rather than being complete outsiders.

That’s why I wouldn’t call this a “Finland has already won” year yet. The odds are useful to see the trend, but Eurovision can change very quickly once rehearsals start and we see the staging, camera work and live vocals.

For anyone following the market side, this page is quite useful: Eurovision 2026 odds.

Right now I’d say Finland is the safest prediction, but not the most exciting one. This still feels like a year where a strong live performance could completely flip the narrative.
