Feeling neutral,, - deleting one of my post on that site advert! What I'm saying is true and sincere but pass is pass I'm not going to look back. I'm happy what I have now

Though I'm a bit excited for all the reverse engineering stuff happening lately. People are literally porting old console games to PC with the help of AI, which means you can play many old games on PC with 60 FPS, 4K etc.

So they are using ai to make it easier unlike doing the old manual style without hacking the source code that's why it take ages to almost perfect.

They are letting AI do the hard work now. This usually means that they make AI read the binary code of the game and then convert that to a modern language like C++ or Rust. Then the creators check if everything works as intended, usually by a tool that compares the original binary data byte by byte. That would take months, maybe even years of work without the help of AI.
