Digimon World: Next Order

So, I'd like to discuss the upcoming video game 'Digimon World: Next Order.' What do you think of it thus far?

Would say, as with any Digimon game, looking forward to it, but then, I only have Rumble Arena, Re-Digitise and Lost Evolution, however I would have bought World Savers, Adventure Re-Digitise Decode, if World Savers was available in UK, Adventure had been available when I bought Re-Digitise and Lost Evolution, and Decode wasn't region locked, might still buy all of them, at somepoint, along with Rumble Arena 2, All-star Rumble Arena and Battle Spirit 2!

 

Might have mentioned before, but didn't buy the original World games due couple of reasons, mostly childish, but at the time, I was a child; one reason was because it didn't follow the anime, another reason was because I wasn't into games were character models, world maps, etc. were mismatched, the last reason, and this was later when I was considering it, was because the PAL version of the first game apparently!

 

Just had a look at the videos for it on Digimon Wikia, you seen PV3?

Features some video cutscenes, think I would have preferred anime cutscenes, similar to opening of Re-Digitise, but CG isn't bad, guess they were just trying to show us the best they can do!

 

This one's not yet been announced for worldwide release, right? If that's the case, it might be a while before I get it, plus I don't have a Vita anyway, currently!

 

The language "issue" isn't a problem for me, I would just muddle through, I mean I have a couple of Japanese imports, so I might not even wait for a translation to pop up!

 

Looking at the videos, it appears that similar to Re-Digitise, and I believe the Story games (could be wrong, but think that's what someone told me), your partner has an expiry date, which is a shame, although it allows you to cycle through different partners, it means you have to continually invest time in partners that you won't have forever!

 

Another thing I noticed from the videos, was that the battle system appears to be different from Re-Digitise!

 

Given how Takuto (male protagonist) is featured often with Agumon and Gabumon, and there are videos featuring jogress to Omegamon, I have to wonder if Palmon and Piyomon are compatible partners for jogress (if so, will we see this in -tri-?)!

 

Due to the vidoes, I wonder as to the binary nature of the partners, because some of the videos feature Shiki (female protagonist) with Agumon and Gabumon, and some with either protagonist with completely different partners, either those that could evolve from one of the original partners, or completely unrelated ones, I guess I'd have to check!
