Replacing Martian Manhunter with Cyborg

This thread probably won't garner a lot of attention due to it being more related to American comic books than Japanese manga or anime, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

 

So as you all know, in the new Justice League movie, Martian Manhunter the green alien with his cool blue cape doesn't seem to have made an appearance at all. This is because, from what I have gathered, MM was replaced by Cyborg in the New 52 DC comics so you probably won't see MM ever in the new Justice League movies, aside from MAYBE a small cameo. This is incredibly disappointing, of course, and I know I'm late by 5-6 years, considering the replacement happened around 2012 or earlier, but only now have I realized that the green martian a lot of us grew up with in the animated series won't make an appearance in the live action movie.

 

This has bothered me, of course, which is one reason why I made this thread. It feels like it's giving us another reason to believe that the writers and Warner Brothers don't give a s*** about the fans. They just want to pander to the New 52 audience instead of finally giving the classic Justice League member the on-screen appearance he deserves, and that notion just sucks.

 

It's just another reason why I haven't bothered to give this new DC cinematic universe any of my attention. I never bothered to pay attention to most of the MCU movies nowadays, so there are even fewer reasons I would give a s*** about the DC version.
