How to live life (A Poem)

How to live life

I wear my heart on my sleeve

Got nothin' to hide

My goals I achieve

Takin' life for a ride

I see you sittin' there

On the side of the street

Dim-eyed and expressionless

I will help you to your feet

I have saved you a seat

Because in my bus

We grab life by the horns

Live it with no regrets

And never stop driving!

Soon we will be arriving

At the end of our lives

We have no knives

to pull from our hearts

Because we were cured

Right from the start

We strapped in our seatbelts

We buckled them tight

We let our hearts melt

All morning and night

We talked of our dreams

And what we wished could be true

We talked of how to achieve them and what we would do

We never let ourselves fall

Nor those around us

Because in this bus

We do not cuss

We do not attack and berate those around us

We lift up and preserve

We struggle and toil

We are there for each other

Through thick and through thin

And if we see any other who wishes come in

We welcome them with kind hearts

Overflowing with joy

We turn back none from our watchful eye

Our bus roars on through day and through night

The devils cry as they are blinded by our tail-light

If anyone stands in our way

We have plenty of kindness to throw their way

As the night dwindles

And so do our lives

We all look around

And smile with glee

We lived life our best

We know we weren't perfect

But our lives were not meaningless

Like most others

Our lives were impactful

And that's more than many people can say

We all hold hands as the sun falls beneath the clouds

We all shed tears as our last breath's drown

We all die with smiles painted dazzlingly across our faces

And we all awake again in Heavenly graces.

 

1 Corinthians 13: 1-2 KJV

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

² And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

 

My thoughts

We should live life to the fullest, I don't mean the fullest in the way that most people do; They mean they should party hard and do whatever they want. I mean we should live it to the fullest we can possibly, we need to be ourselves 100%, never try to be someone were not and never turn down someone who needs help. We need to be compassionate and charitable, we need to love everyone and be ready to help anyone and at anytime. We must think of others for than we think of ourselves.
