Yuuki_Radosian Posted January 24, 2015 Share Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) The seven deadly sins , an anime set in medieval times following the story of Elisabeth in her quest to (spoiler haha can't tell you that you'll just have to watch to find out). I recommend that you watch this anime as it is very interesting , while it may not be a 5 star anime it will keep you watching and laughing and in some places you may even cry due to the wide range of emotions that are evoked by this anime I give it a 65:100 but don't underestimate it just because of the rating it is most definitely a great anime to watch . If any of you are currently watching this series I wold love to hear your opinions on the story and the character building so far. Yuuki_Radosian Posted January 29, 2015 Author Share Posted January 29, 2015 [spoiler=Summary of the first 10 Episodes] Episode 1 : We are introduced to Meliodas , the leader of the Seven Deadly Sins who holdz the Dragons sin of wrath, who has a love for women and has his own bar the Boar Hat where we are also introduced to his talking pig Hawk. We then meet a beautiful young girl Elisabeth one of the kingdoms princesses and daughter to the deceased king, Meliodas wastes no time feeling-I mean healing her up and joins her on her mission to find the seven deadly sins and save the kingdom. Episode 2: On their search to find the other Sins Meliodas and Elisabeth find themselves in a small town being plagued by a holy knight , after saving the town the holy knight Gilthunder launches a single spear at the town (from over 7 miles away) which Meliodas stops and returns to sender showing us little of his power. Episode 3:Elisabeth and Meliodas venture into the woods to hide from the holy knights and to find the Serpents sin of Envy , Diane after finding Diane the party is attacked by Gilthunder who Meliodas uses to gain information on the other sins. Episode 4:A wounded Meliodas is poisoned by a doctor who's daughter was thought to be held captive (shes dead) while Diane ventures out to rescue Ban , The Fox's sin of Greed from prison where he is "held" meanwhile Ban decides to leave the prison and takes a leisurely stroll out. Episode 5: Even on his death bead Meliodas cannot let his broken sword be taken and when a holy knight attempts to take it we see the wrath of Meliodas for the first time (although he does not use it to do anything) , after defeating the holy knight Meliodas , Elisabeth and Hawk head towards the prison to help Diane who soon finds them but is held under n illusion that makes her think Melioas is a holy knight , Meliodas is caught under the same illusion all the while Ban is still on his morning walk out of prison. Episode 6: Elisabeth rescues Meliodas and Diane from the illusion and is injured in the process making Meliodas get a little angry and defeat the holy knights , Meliodas and Ban meet up and in their excitement destroy the prison with their greetings to one another while Diane carries Elisabeth who refused to leave on account of her wounds. At the end we are introduced to King , the the Sin of Sloth. Episode 7: The party now heads out to find the land of the dead where they try to find King but before they can manage to get in King attacks Ban and runs away after seeing Diane , the group then enters the land of the dead thanks to Ban and his memories of Elaine (Kings sister who Ban is in love with and who King thinks was killed by Ban). Episode 8: Meliodas and Dianne are attacked by the holy knight Guila in the land of the dead while King turns Ban into a statue. Ban is returned to normal by the spirit of Elaine who asks King to protect Ban because of her love for him , King then joins our heroic team. Episode 9: After King joins our party He defeats Guila and chews out the rest of the team for loosing their holy weapons and so begins the quest to find the Sins holy weapons , Ban , Meliodas and King end up finding Diane's hammer while the girls look after the bar , the guys enter a fighting competition to win the hammer and some cash. We are introduced to holy knight Hauser who also joins the competition . Meanwhile holy knight Jericho Gains demonic power from the blood of a demon which was given to her by The Great Holy Knight Hendrikson. Episode 10: Elisabeth and Diane are shrunken by some mushroom monsters while Elisabeth's sister Veronica searches for her in the same city and the holy knights begin their search for the Sins and Elisabeth. Yuuki_Radosian Posted January 29, 2015 Author Share Posted January 29, 2015 [spoiler=Episode 11] The fight between Meliodas and Ban seems to be going in Ban's favor until the last second when Meliodas's wrath makes him throw Ban to the other side . . . of the city . . . and break his arm . . . and destroy half his body. Meliodas faces an old friend Cain and wins when Cain quits the fight . The next fight starts and it's Meliodas V.s the shrunken (normal human size) Diane. Meanwhile the new and improved holy knights Guila and Jericho , and some new faces , head towards where Melodas and the others are gathered. Elisabeth and Diane return to their normal size's.Elisabeth and Meliodas are found by Princess Veronica who captures Meliodas in the Goddess Amber (a crystal).KIng is attacked by one of his former comrades Helbram. Yuuki_Radosian Posted February 1, 2015 Author Share Posted February 1, 2015 [spoiler=Episode 13] A Rampaging Meliodas quickly dispatches holy knights Guila and Jericho and flies off to fight Helbram who defeats Meliodas .We discover that Meliodas is part demon . Diane with her holy weapon "Gideon" forces Helbram and the other holy knights to retreat by showing them her strength. Meliodas regains consciousness and resolves to end the holy war. Yuuki_Radosian Posted February 1, 2015 Author Share Posted February 1, 2015 [spoiler=Episode 14] Elisabeth and Hawk are sent into a small village in disguise where they are found by The Goat's Sin of Lust , Gowther and his companion who Gowther put his armor on in order to seal his magical power. Gowther's companion is attacked by Dawn Roar. Meliodas and the other sins quickly jump in to aid the companion who they thought was Gowther. Gowther then reveals himself. Yuuki_Radosian Posted February 1, 2015 Author Share Posted February 1, 2015 [spoiler=Episode 15] Gowther beheads his companion to prevent a three way fight between Dawn Roar , the Sins and his companion who is the father of holy knight Guila that has been altered artificially to be a demon .Cain finds the Boar Hat and Elisabeth inside. He tells her of Lis , the former lover of Meliodas and Cain gives Elisabeth the sword that Liz gave to Meliodas. Elisabeth rushes to Meliodas to bring him the sword. Meliodas defeats the demon. Elisabeth , the final piece of the seal , is kidnapped by the holy knights and Meliodas , Ban and Gowther head out to rescue her. The sins arrive at the castle , as they are about to launch their attack we find that Arthur , king of Camelot , and his army are attacking from the opposite side of the castle. The sins enter the kingdom of Liones and are made to look like they are attacking the kingdom by the holy knights. Diane is attacked and almost killed by the great holy knight Dreyfus but Guila and Hauser turn against the kingdom and its lies to help defend Diane. Things are really heating up , what will happen next ? I didn't think it could happen but this weeks episode definitely kicked things up a notch with the action and the story. Yuuki_Radosian Posted February 18, 2015 Author Share Posted February 18, 2015 [spoiler=Episode 18] The holy knights try to kill Dianne , Hauser and Guila but are stopped by Gowther who is taken out by Dryfus . after the holy knights defeat Gowther they leave Helbram behind to deal with Hauser and Guila , King appears and fights Helbram. The Boar's sin of Gluttony Merlin arrives and dispels the flames "saving" Arthur. Meliodas frees Gilthunder from the control of the holy knights and Githunder attacks Holy knight Hendrikson. Meliodas , with the aid of Gilthunder and Merlin , finds Elisabeth and her father the former king. Merlin and Arthur take the king to Camelot to treat him while Hendrikson returns ,and with demon power , to kidnap Elisabeth. Yuuki_Radosian Posted March 23, 2015 Author Share Posted March 23, 2015 [spoiler=Episode 23] Ban hits Hendrikson through the ground and into an old cave system where Hendrikson adds the power of another demons blood (the grey demon which is more powerful than the red demon , the one that the new generation got their powers from and the one that killed Elain) to what he already has and looses what little humanity he had. With his new power Hendrikson easily overpowers the holy knights and manages to do some serious damage to the sins. Hawk sacrifices himself to save Elisabeth and Meliodas. Elisabeth's hidden power is reviled , The disciple of the Goddesses , her power heals the everyone that is still alive and unfortunately those who are already dead are beyond helping even with her power. Yuuki_Radosian Posted March 30, 2015 Author Share Posted March 30, 2015 Final Episode [spoiler=Episode 24] Meliodas now leads what looks to be a hopeless attack in which he takes most of the damage while Hendrikson remains largely unhurt. Meliodas now reveals his true plan , to use his ultimate move the Revenge counter releasing all the magic from the attacks he has taken all at once defeating Hendrikson. The king returns with Merlin after being healed , Elisabeth's sister Veronica also returns. Hawk (now mini sized) somehow survived . The Coffin of Eternal Darkness has gone missing and Merlin reports that a strange bird was seen flying south after Hendrikson was defeated. Gilthunder announces his plan to leave the capitol and wander around helping people as much as he can. Elisabeth leaves with the Sins on their new adventure. Gilthunder , Hauser and Griamore find some research that that may have links to Meliodas and Hendrikson's powers. Really enjoyed this ending , especially Gowther ( hilarious ).
