Ok so I heard everyone was going a little crazy over this and I don't know why , I saw this some time last year and beyond being really well made and a little on the H side of things I don't see why people care so much about this MV .

Even after watching the

on it (which I found Highly offensive due to the frequent use of the word Otaku in such a negative light) and reading a bit about it on the net , all that I can see is that it comments on Otaku's and the Otaku lifestyle.

In my own opinion this MV shows how Otaku's are thought of by non-Otaku's (stuck in the AniWorld and unable to keep a stable IRL relationship [which we all know is wrong])

Any thoughts ?

I think Gaijin Goombah does a good explanation unravels it well. (He's a former Japanese English Teacher that often talks about Culture Impacts in video games)

Also, there a few things you should know about the term 'Otaku'. It's a highly overused word in the west so it's meaning got all messed up. Otaku is getting so obsessed with ANYTHING (not just anime or videogames) that a person would almost entirely shut themselves away from a social life, but not to the extent of a NEET. It's not the badge of honor Weeaboos make it out to be and does NOT translate to a 'Japanese Nerd'.

Firstly , I'm not a Weeaboo (I know your not saying that I am but I'm just putting this out there).

Secondly , I know that the actual meaning of the word Otaku is someone who obsesses over something , which is why I have to say that I'm an Anime/Manga Otaku when I talk to Japanese speaking people , but as I am sure you know over time words change their meaning and this happens because of the way in which they are used (like the westerners using it to mean an Anime enthusiast ) and I am sure that most people (outside of Japan and even some in Japan) know what is meant by the term Otaku .Other than that English adopts many words from other languages , but their meaning in English may differ from their original meaning so even if the meaning does not come to change in Japanese I believe that English will (if it hasn't already) adopt the word and have its meaning be Anime enthusiast.
