I'm going to take a guess that Magiana is Fairy/Steel. With all these things the XYZ anime is doing that isn't in the current game's coding (Zygarde Formes, Mega Greninja, and now this) I expect another 6th gen game sometime this year. It might be announced on February 27th, which would be Pokemon's 20th anniversary.

I heard him say that to, but there's nothing that really proves it from the advertising. I do think we'll get actual serious cases though, maybe kidnapping. Speaking of which, a lot of new info was revealed about the game through screenshot, which can be viewed here. I love how they are setting up detective Pikachu to be a believable character (Outside of the fact he's a Pikachu, of course) with realistic flaws. It really sets him apart from the Pikachu from the anime, which I feel was devoided of an actual personality. I really hope this comes westwards soon.

The only thing I have is online shopping... There IS a gaming store about an hour away from where I live called Estarland. I've only been there once, but they have a ton of Retro/Imported games and Anime Merchandise like figures. I would go there much more often if I lived just a bit closer...

Ugh Snow, I've been waiting over a week for my figure. Amazon says it should come in tomorrow, good thing I shoveled out the mailbox today.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much. Kotaku is known for wording things oddly, if not downright falsely to get clickbait articles. They're are less reliable sites, sure, but Kotaku is has a pretty low reputation. Fact is, there is no press release saying such content is removed by NOA, so I would wait until another source who've played the game says otherwise.

The worst part is, the majority of the dialog in the game comes from that mode, or a least a huge chunk. This is suppose to replace support conversations, you know. Knowing NOA, this won't even be replaced. Thankfully, the only news source is Kotaku. I get that Kotaku should count for interview source as much as anyone else, but before I go on a full riot, I want to hear it from at least one other source.

That's pretty much the entire forum in a nutshell, so the community welcomes you! So you do play Kantai Collection? As far I'm concerned, I was the only active member who plays it (a lot of us seen the anime though). And looking at a part of your stream I saw, you're much farther than me in it... Also, nice pictures.

Well, I am a retro collector. If the game is really old, I really don't have a choice, do I? If the game is over five years old I'll get it new, otherwise I'll hunt for a new copy. Surprisingly, after buying maybe nearly a hundred used games in my life, I never got a defect. Sony does have an interesting 'Greatest Hits' program that can break this rule though. I was so glad that Chrono Cross (a PS1 game) was re released back when I got it in 2012. It was only $15. Though physical re-releases where they reprint a game over a decade later like that probably won't happen in the near future with such a huge digital market.

Same. I have all the Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8, and most of Super Smash Bro's DLC. And I don't feel like I wasted a cent. However, keep me far away from games that JUST provide alternate skins or Micro-transactions.

That's really what it boils down to for me as well. I'm the type of guy who plays multiple games at once, but doesn't dedicate hundreds of hours into one game, which obviously MMOs of both types are designed to played. So If I had a paid subscription, I feel like a ton of money would be wasted a month to keep an account open even if I hardly touched the game that month.

Well... They purposefully left in glitches in Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and that was a remake. This is a straight up port (outside of wireless Multiplayer) and very little bug fixing was ever done with Nintendo's Virtual console Library. On the subject of glitches though, I am curious about one glitch and how they'll handle it in the 3DS port. In the original versions of R/B/Y/G (as well as G/S/C), the Japanese and Localized versions of the game had data stored in different places of the code (for some reason) so trading with an international version of the game with a Japanese version of the game has a slight chance of giving a glitch Pokemon or wiping out all data between both games... of course, their way of fixing this might just be region locking. They HAVE to keep MissingNo though. I mean, that's a Pokemon Glitch staple right there.

Err... None of you guys heard of the infamous Mew Glitch? It works for any version of the first gen games and you can do it before getting the second gym badge.

@Ryuji Gen VII by the end of the year is totally possible. But everyone's been saying that it would be Pokemon Z. Not that I can blame them, since there's the new Zygarde forms and the new season of the anime is called 'X, Y, and Z'. But compared to all the 'third wheel' pokemon games, Z would just seem late and uninspired for an anniversary. Plus I'm not the biggest fan of XY, so I'd rather go with something totally new. Of course, it might just be that Nintendo thinks Pokemon GO is enough to satisfy Pokemon for the 20th... but no one would really want JUST that.
