  1. I think it's too obvious what the release date will be, most late translated RPGs tend to sell the best around mid to late winter (January-March) where things slow down drastically during the holidays. Hence, games like Awakening, Etrian Odyssey 4, Etrian Mystery Dungeon, and Bravely Default were released in Japan months to years earlier in Japan, but were localized in the western (namely American) market in the Q1 time-frame and sold practically well for their franchise. I don't see Fates being released in any other month. Also, found out characters from awakening will make their way into Fates. I won't go into spoiling details, but it's now obvious Fates takes place in the same world as Shadow Dragon/Gaidan/Awakening... so I guess I can excuse time traveling for the children.
  2. Time to start watching Fate/Zero :D

    E3 2015

Nintendo said there will be no Zelda U at E3 2015 months ahead of time since they were planning to change some things dramatically compared to the footage they showed last December, I'm trying to figure out why people are still angry at this. I'm disappointed to, being a huge Zelda fan, but I knew for certain there would be no Zelda U at 2015 because Nintendo said there wouldn't.
  4. I don't remember that specifically, but I do know the Avatar this time is ACTUALLY the main character, unlike Robin who hung around Chrom for 20 chapters until he become part of the plot...
  5. Fates sold over 300,000 in it's opening week in Japan. 40,000 of that is the special edition. Let's put it this way, in it's first week the game almost outsold Binding Blades all-time sales. To be fair though, it is technically two different games.
  6. It's probably going to be February, like awakening. Anyways, thought I would drop this here: http://www.siliconera.com/2015/06/18/fire-emblem-fates-will-have-marriage-and-children/ Does this mean more time traveling again?

    E3 2015

I heard mixed things about EA, some of the games they talked about were fine... it's how they talked about them that left a sour taste in many people's mouth... DOOM surprised me, but I'm worried on how it will do... I have a felling it's just a traditional FPS that just uses the name for hype (Could be wrong). I'm planning to get into Halo, but not anytime soon... so I don't have much hype for Halo 5. I can understand your situation with Fallout and FF7 though. Open world games aren't my thing, so I never really was interested in Fallout or anything similar like Elder Scrolls. FF7 is overrated, but I think it's pretty influential. If you have PSN or Steam, I would recommend it if you like RPGs and your willing to blow $10. It didn't age well in almost any standard, but started a TON of tropes that are used today in RPGs, that alone makes it an interesting experience.

    E3 2015

I mostly excited about FF7 trailer... but it's not enough for me to buy a PS4. (A new Chrono game, on the other hand...) I mean, seriously, that teaser looked beautiful. At first I thought it was a movie adaption.

    E3 2015

@Ryuji As for what was talked about... Nintendo: Star Fox Zero, Skylanders, Zelda: Triforce Heroes, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and Animal Crossing: Boring Mario Party Rip-off, Metroid: Federation Force, Yoshi Wolly Yarn, Mario Tennis, and Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam, Fire Emblem If, Fire Emblem x SMT. Sony: Last Guardian, MECHO DINO HUNTING GAME!!!, New Hitman, Street Fighter V, No Man's Sky, FFVII remake!!!! Microsoft: XBONE will get 360 backwards compatibility, Halo 5, Forza Motorsport, New Tomb Raider, Gears 4 Others: New Nier, new South Park game, Kingdom Hearts 3, World of Final Fantasy, Sword Art Online: Lost Song... That's the most I can think of, I feel like I messed a lot though. ---------------------------------------------- My personal E3 conference ratings: Sony: Really good, but nothing really interest me. There was so little time spent on Vita and I don't have a PS4... Microsoft: Better then their last two years at least. Never owned a Microsoft console though. EA: Entire section set to mobile and sport games... Not good. Ubisoft: Meh, had some high points. Nintendo: The one I was looking forward to the most, but since they tell us everything they are doing through their Directs every other month, there was nothing very impactfull this time around. It was not bad by any means though. Overall this E3 was decent, but didn't live up to the hype as much as last year's, especially Ninten's conference. I was looking forward to Zelda U, but that was delayed. I guess I'll wait until next year with the reveal of the NX.
  10. From the trailer (at 0:48), I don't think there still isn't a personality test. You just chose the one you want like in Managate of Infinity.

    New Game

The idea seems fun, I might take a look at a couple of the 4Koma strips. I don't read 4Komas much because the punchlines tend to be inside japanese humor I don't get, hope this is different.
  12. I'm totally going to go with a mudk...WTF RIOLU?! Change of plans, I'm going with that non-starter in the back.
  13. 1 and 6 are the best, hands down. I mean, seriously, 1 is like Skyrim on the NES while 6 is the deepest I've seen an SNES game go.
  14. Crap, got my Products mixed up. The Pocky that my grocery store sells is the type form Thailand, so I got confused (It even says *Product of Thailand on the back*. Glico also has a Thailand branch, but is ultimately from Tokyo. I could be wrong about this, but I'm guessing their Thailand branch is in charge of Importing? Anyways, Forget what I said *Hides behind chair*
  15. Ermm... That's because it's FROM Thailand... It's technically NOT Japanese. But to be fair, it is popular there. So I guess it still counts.
  16. Math is okay, I only want to think about what I want to think about. So... Training Pokemon and calculating EVs and IVs = Fun Doing Algebra homework = Not Fun

  18. I'm not a downloader, it takes too much time. I stream on Kissanime, but recently that site got annoying with loading times and adds. Now I know why Drill doesn't like streaming sites.

    Camp Nano

I might do this, I have a thing for writing novels despite the fact I don't care for reading them. I have a really long story I want to get out of my head, but I unsure if it's suited for a contest. I'll probably share it on this site anyways.

    E3 2015

Aww... Darn. I was about to start this. :'( Jokes aside, I mostly just looking forward to whatever Nintendo is doing. XBONE is okay, but has terrible presentations while PS4 still almost has nothing and I heard there will be no talk on Kingdom Hearts 3... so... yeah. Nintendo all the way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbvzyY1FKr0 Specifically, I want to see a trailer for Star Fox U. Games I want to see announced are things like a new Mario 3D Platformer (how could the NOT do one on the 30th anniversary?), Bravely Third (Square just licensed the title), and... maybe a new Chrono Game? (Hope for one every year, always left disapointed. But Square DID do a survey to see what game they should do next. So chances rise to 0.02%). I also hope to see more DLC announcements for Mario Kart 8, Smash, and Hyrule Warriors. Too bad Zelda U won't be showing this year.
  22. I wouldn't worry about same-sex couples, honestly. Tomodachi and Fire Emblem are very separate games after all. The only thing they have in common in Nintendo. But yeah, I do hope we get this kind of Info at E3, Fire Emblem didn't appear in Nintendo Direct yesterday so they might be saving it as a more major announcement.
  23. @drill Either way, there doesn't appear to be any time traveling or time skipping in this game's plot... Meaning more likely than not there won't be child characters like Awakening or Genealogy of the holy war. In short, if there is marriage in this game, it's just by titles alone and wouldn't effect anything. Intelligent Systems normally don't add anything that doesn't need to be in the game. To top it off, many have complained that Tomodachi Life didn't have same-sex couples, Nintendo might try to avoid that controversy again by getting rid of marriage in their games all together. To support this, notice how you can invite same-sex characters into your room. I could be completely off about this, Japan doesn't have the same issues as Americans and the Tomodachi complaints were almost non-existent until it got localized, I'm just saying Nintendo likes to play it safe to keep themselves family-friendly. So will FE If have a marriage system? Let's just wait until July when the game comes out in Japan.
