  1. Japan is getting a pretty sweat set of Pokemon Themed 2DSes, each one has the respective game pre-installed. I MIGHT go as far to import one. I don't care for the 2DS's UI, but it would make for a cheap device to play imported games on. However, since Nintendo hasn't been to bad when it comes to localizing the library, I don't think that would be necessary. Maybe if I find enough games from japan that never got localized that I would like to play.
  2. I don't like spending too much money on one thing, I probably have a few things that went up in price over the years, but I doubt by much. It'd probably be Reggie Fils Aime's signature, through a letter. I've seen people trying to write to him, but always gets a response through the secretary. I doubt it's honestly worth much, he's not an actor or anything. I do feel it's rare enough for bragging rights, though.
  3. Agreed. It wouldn't be a stretch to call a PC a console these days due to the fact computers can be built for the specific purpose of gaming, but I've never seen a phone have built with the proper specs for JUST gaming. However, whatever it is or isn't is a topic that's been derailing this thread. That brings back middle school/early high school memories of me fiddling around on the school's calculators. However, those had worse performance than the original Gameboy, so anything more complicated than Tetris bugged out to no end... and even Tetris would be barely stable.
  4. Happy Birthday! Also noticed you've been on the forums for just over a year now!

    2. Ryuji

      Ryuji

Good thing we don't want to get rid of you then. :p

  5. Fire Emblem Fates, Star Fox Zero, The Legend of Zelda U, Pokken Tournament, Hyrule Warriors Legends.
  6. Do late translations count? Either way, my list: 1. Splatoon 2. Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3. Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 4. Super Mario Maker 5. Touhou 14.5: Urban Legend in Limbo
  7. *Lines up imported games septate from the rest* I'm done cleaning now.

  8. Got to see the new Star Wars. It was pretty good!

  9. I also vote for plum springs.
  10. Pricing wise, getting a New 3DS for Xeno is about the same as getting a Wii just for Xeno. However, even though the New 3DS is portable, it's also the only exclusive game for it and the models and textures look like crap compared to the original.
  11. Replaying Mario And Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
  12. Playing the Pokemon Trading Card Game... Game boy game...

  13. Nothing really sticks out to me this season. I guess I'll wait for these shows to start and see what shows people like.
  14. I'll be honest, the yokai designs are hit-or-miss. Some I like, while others can just be as bad as Klefki from pokemon. No offense for those who like Klefki.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT5YWlGikdE This massive hit in Japan finally came out in America a bit over a week ago, two years after it's Japanese release. Not to mention arguably one of Pokemons best rivals to date. I downloaded it on the western launch day and been hooked ever since. I'm not going to beat around the bush here, this franchise has a lot in common with Pokemon. You collect monsters, train them through battles, and they can even evolve. But unlike most Pokemon clones, it does enough different to stand on it's own two feet while still appealing to a similar audience. Some of these changes are for the better: with things like fusions, better writing, a new battle system, open world exploration, and touch encounters within dungeons. While others not so much: recruiting yo-kais are a bit random and you have an annoying stamina meter for running. Anyways, the game isn't perfect, but I still find it fun. Think of Fallout mixed with Kancolle (however that works). I say if you like monster collect games of any kind, you'll enjoy this. To make things clear on how popular this series is in Japan, the games themselves have sold over 7 million copies (including spinoffs), Yokai Watch 2 outsold Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Saphire in Japan, and the first Movie based on the animated series became the highest grossing film in Japan since 2000. Altogether, in a bit over it's first year the franchise grossed over a billion. And since Nintendo is handling the localization, I wouldn't be surprised if this gets somewhere in the west as well. So does anyone else here know about the franchise? There's a demo on the eshop (though I recommend you not base your opinion on the demo alone... it does not really does the game justice). That's all I wanted to get off my chest. Feel free to post your thoughts on the franchise here.
  16. Cloud in Smash, I must say I was not expecting that.

  17. It's getting close to launch and I'm still on the edge about this. I'm still slightly disappointed in the third game, and am afraid some of it's core problems might exist in this one. I'll just wait a couple weeks for the reviews to come in, but I don't know how well that will work since reviewers have always been quite harsh on the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. Even Etrian Mystery Dungeon and the main Mystery Dungeon series have seen a better average in scores.
  18. I got my Wonderswan Color working again and decided to start the Wonderswan color version of Final Fantasy 1. The lighting and resolution on the console does not give it justice, but outside of that, this game look beautiful for an 8-bit handheld. Drill and I also got an English translation of Seiken Densetsu 3 working on an emulator on our Wii. That game is also pretty fun.
  19. Banned Because it is the will of the Starfish.
  20. Kinda looks like a darker version of Mega Mewtwo X, but still looks pretty cool. I don't know why the developers went with this instead of... normal Mewtwo... but I look forward to it.
  21. I'm playing the Japanese version of Pokemon Red. I have no idea what is going on but I think I'm winning.

  22. Halloween 2 Spoopy 4 me. Good thing it's over... and scissors don't exist.

  23. McDonalds...? That's a very strange place to hold an event.
