  1. So, I didn't see a thread on here about the "That time I got reincarnated as a slime" anime and I was wondering, what do you all think about it? I'm liking it so far ≧◡≦
  2. this year many of the anime that will be released have even been released , but there are some bad or very good anime to watch if you want it in terms of the storyline or the characters from the anime story, all of it from the attitude of the audience and from the judgment of each but in my opinion there are some of the newest anime that are the best in terms of anything even though there are still some shortcomings the best anime in 2019 1 . 3. Blizzard has apparently (re)released the original, 1996 version of Diablo. Via GOG of all places. For anyone not familiar with GOG (Good Old Games), they're a place to (legally) purchase unrestricted games. None of the games on GOG have DRM or require "activation" or online connection to a mothership or any of that sort of nonsense to play. You buy it, you download it, and you play it. "You bought it, you own it" is their motto. Anyone who's familiar with Blizzard, on the other hand, knows they don't do non-DRM. (Diablo is, currently, the only Blizzard title on GOG.) Ok, so 1996 was a while ago. This is no doubt a last-gasp attempt to get some money from the title. Still, to me it seems quite odd to see a Blizzard title on GOG.. https://www.gog.com/game/diablo (also https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2019/03/original-diablo-is-now-on-sale-for-10-drm-free-but-not-on-blizzards-app/ )
  4. Zatch Bell doesn't get mentioned much, and not many people actually seem to remember it. I personally never cared for Zatch Bell. The reason is because of how over the top it is, and the main character (Zatch) is pretty annoying, and there's also a lot of annoying characters in it too. Also the anime just has too much humor in it, since the humor ruins many moments that are supposed to be serious.
  5. Okay, so I know this is a pretty broad question, but have you ever watched an anime that managed to just really piss you off? Like was the ending really bad or confusing? Did something about the show seem really cryptic to you? Was there a question that was never answered that really stuck with you? For me, it definitely has to be: Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt! Don't get me wrong, I freaking love that series . . . but did anything seem weird to you? The final showdown between the angels and demons? The way Panty kinda left after being shunned as an angel . . . or could it possibly have been . . . HOW STOCKING MANAGED TO CHOP HER SISTER INTO A MILLION TINY PIECES AND THEN FUCKING REVEAL THAT SHE WAS A DEMON?!?! Seriously, who the hell writes this crap?! You can't just end the series like that, leaving it open for a new season and it never comes! WTF?! That left me thinking about it for months? Stocking . . . a samurai angel . . . who helped Panty, a gunslinging angel . . . defeat Satan and the devil sisters . . . TURNS OUT TO BE A FUCKING DEMON?! smh . . .
  6. Some time has passed since The Seven Deadly Sins and Princess Elizabeth brought peace to the kingdom. To celebrate the king's birthday, The Seven Deadly Sins travel to a remote land in search of the phantom ingredient "sky fish." Meliodas and Hawk end up at a "Sky Palace" that exists above the clouds, where all the residents have wings. Meliodas is mistaken for a boy who committed a crime and is thrown in prison. Meanwhile, the residents are preparing a ceremony for defense against a ferocious beast that awakens once every 3,000 years. But the Six Knights of Black, a Demon Clan army, arrives and removes the seal on the beast in order to threaten the lives of the residents of Sky Palace. Meliodas and his allies meet the Six Knights of Black in battle. Source: ANN
  7. There are words Violet heard on the battlefield, which she cannot forget. These words were given to her by someone she holds dear, more than anyone else. She does not yet know their meaning. A certain point in time, in the continent of Telesis. The great war which divided the continent into North and South has ended after four years, and the people are welcoming a new generation. Violet Evergarden, a young girl formerly known as "the weapon," has left the battlefield to start a new life at CH Postal Service. There, she is deeply moved by the work of "Auto Memories Dolls," who carry people's thoughts and convert them into words. Violet begins her journey as an Auto Memories Doll, and comes face to face with various people's emotions and different shapes of love. All the while searching for the meaning of those words. 8. Just started the Netflix series, Castlevania and I have to say I'm pretty hooked. I'm really picky when it comes to American anime and most I don't care for because they are down right boring as heck. I finally reached season two, episode 5 last night. The only real issue for me on the series is the fact that the seasons are so dang short. Season one literally only has 4 episodes, ugh. So does anyone else watch the series? What do you think of it?

    Soul Eater

Death City is home to the famous Death Weapon Meister Academy, a technical academy headed by the Shinigami—Lord Death himself. Its mission: to raise "Death Scythes" for the Shinigami to wield against the many evils of their fantastical world. These Death Scythes, however, are not made from physical weapons; rather, they are born from human hybrids who have the ability to transform their bodies into Demon Weapons, and only after they have consumed the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch's soul. Soul Eater Evans, a Demon Scythe who only seems to care about what's cool, aims to become a Death Scythe with the help of his straight-laced wielder, or meister, Maka Albarn. The contrasting duo work and study alongside the hot headed Black☆Star and his caring weapon Tsubaki, as well as the Shinigami's own son, Death the Kid, an obsessive-compulsive dual wielder of twin pistols Patty and Liz.Soul Eater follows these students of Shibusen as they take on missions to collect souls and protect the city from the world's threats while working together under the snickering sun to become sounder in mind, body, and soul. 11. Looking for an anime that is much like The Seven Deadly Sins, funny in places, serious in places, good characters with a fantasy or supernatural element. Tend to enjoy watching over powered characters I guess. Struggling as i quite like to watch dubbed anime. I often like anime with a small adult theme / not specifically aimed at children (often find that the stories can be a lot more intricate and intense). Also liked things like Bleach, Naruto Shippuden. Vampire Knight, High School DnD (only explored anime such as this with this title, did enjoy it though, so wouldn't mind others like this). Any kind of recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you!

    Black Clover

Asta and Yuno were abandoned at the same church on the same day. Raised together as children, they came to know of the "Wizard King"—a title given to the strongest mage in the kingdom—and promised that they would compete against each other for the position of the next Wizard King. However, as they grew up, the stark difference between them became evident. While Yuno is able to wield magic with amazing power and control, Asta cannot use magic at all and desperately tries to awaken his powers by training physically. When they reach the age of 15, Yuno is bestowed a spectacular Grimoire with a four-leaf clover, while Asta receives nothing. However, soon after, Yuno is attacked by a person named Lebuty, whose main purpose is to obtain Yuno's Grimoire. Asta tries to fight Lebuty, but he is outmatched. Though without hope and on the brink of defeat, he finds the strength to continue when he hears Yuno's voice. Unleashing his inner emotions in a rage, Asta receives a five-leaf clover Grimoire, a "Black Clover" giving him enough power to defeat Lebuty. A few days later, the two friends head out into the world, both seeking the same goal—to become the Wizard King! Source: MyAnimeList

  17. "In order for something to be obtained, something of equal value must be lost." Alchemy is bound by this Law of Equivalent Exchange—something the young brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric only realize after attempting human transmutation: the one forbidden act of alchemy. They pay a terrible price for their transgression—Edward loses his left leg, Alphonse his physical body. It is only by the desperate sacrifice of Edward's right arm that he is able to affix Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor. Devastated and alone, it is the hope that they would both eventually return to their original bodies that gives Edward the inspiration to obtain metal limbs called "automail" and become a state alchemist, the Fullmetal Alchemist. Three years of searching later, the brothers seek the Philosopher's Stone, a mythical relic that allows an alchemist to overcome the Law of Equivalent Exchange. Even with military allies Colonel Roy Mustang, Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye, and Lieutenant Colonel Maes Hughes on their side, the brothers find themselves caught up in a nationwide conspiracy that leads them not only to the true nature of the elusive Philosopher's Stone, but their country's murky history as well. In between finding a serial killer and racing against time, Edward and Alphonse must ask themselves if what they are doing will make them human again... or take away their humanity. 18. Edward Elric, a young, brilliant alchemist, has lost much in his twelve-year life: when he and his brother Alphonse try to resurrect their dead mother through the forbidden act of human transmutation, Edward loses his brother as well as two of his limbs. With his supreme alchemy skills, Edward binds Alphonse's soul to a large suit of armor. A year later, Edward, now promoted to the fullmetal alchemist of the state, embarks on a journey with his younger brother to obtain the Philosopher's Stone. The fabled mythical object is rumored to be capable of amplifying an alchemist's abilities by leaps and bounds, thus allowing them to override the fundamental law of alchemy: to gain something, an alchemist must sacrifice something of equal value. Edward hopes to draw into the military's resources to find the fabled stone and restore his and Alphonse's bodies to normal. However, the Elric brothers soon discover that there is more to the legendary stone than meets the eye, as they are led to the epicenter of a far darker battle than they could have ever imagined.
