"Why are you sitting alone? Don't you want me to guard you from the squirrels?" he snorted and, without waiting for an answer, sat down next to her. He silently handed her a thermos of hot chocolate—"Mom gave it to you, don't ask." At first, she was confused, then she smiled—and a quiet companionship hung between them, where words were superfluous. 2) She was thinking about yesterday's misunderstanding when Katsuki appeared without knocking. He sat down opposite her and began harshly, almost evasively: "I don't like stupid arguments," and removed the armband he wore as a sign of his stubborn pride. "Sorry if that was mine," he said evenly, pushing his pride aside. Her heart pounded harder—apologies from him always sounded like confessions. 3) His reason for coming was simple and bold—he wanted a proposition: "Train with me tonight. And don't refuse," he said when he saw her staring into the distance. He pulled a pair of gloves from his backpack and placed them next to her, as if it were a contract. She hesitated at first, but then agreed—because it was hard to resist someone who makes the first move. 4) He approached because he noticed the sadness flickering across her face. "Don't look so pathetic," he muttered, but then he took her hand and gently ruffled her hair. It was rough and at the same time surprisingly caring. She laughed in surprise—and Katsuki's protective, scorching manner turned into a form of support she hadn't expected. 5) Katsuki appeared as a noisy group of his peers approached the park. He stood between them, unhurriedly, with that same dangerous look that said, "Leave me alone." He didn't shout, but his presence was a warning wall. She felt a sense of safety that made her heart beat more calmly. 6) The book she'd forgotten lay on the bench; he approached her with it in his hand and handed it to her like a trophy. "Here. Don't lose things because of your absent-minded appearance," he grumbled, but there was warmth in his voice. She took the book, and their fingers accidentally brushed—a brief, poignant moment. She looked at him, and gratitude flickered in her eyes. 7) He came over to return a small gesture: a paper airplane he'd picked up a week ago and kept as a reminder of their first conversation. "You threw it away," he muttered, handing her the toy. She laughed as she recalled that awkward moment. His gesture was simple, but it said more than any monologue. Katsuki appeared with a challenge: "The game is whoever refuses first." He handed her a ticket to a mini-amusement ride nearby, and his eyes sparkled. She accepted the challenge; a light competition and laughter ensued between them. His signature confidence mingled with genuine interest—everything became more exciting around him. 9) Her mood was low after a hard day; He came over, sat down next to her, and silently took off his jacket, draping it over her shoulders. "Don't be cold," he said curtly. It wasn't just physical protection, but also a gesture that conveyed his attention and desire to be close. The warm fabric and his silent presence melted the ice in her chest. 10) The last time he came over, he couldn't keep it to himself anymore. Katsuki sat close, looking absurdly serious, and blurted out, "Listen, don't be scared, but I... I like it when you sit alone. It feels like you're real then." She blushed, not believing what she heard. His confession wasn't smooth, but it was honest—and in the quiet park, something new was born between them.

Obviously, everyone who is here today is here because they watch anime and they love the style. I get that. I wonder though, how many others have dreams of following in the footsteps of the giants that have provided them with some of the greatest moments of entertainment in their lives? How many people here want to make anime themselves? I will humbly admit that I cannot draw like that ( probably never ), but I do have certain other attributes that could go into making a successful anime with the help of others. It would actually probably be a more prudent course of action to start out with a manga than an actual anime, so in that way there is at least a clear template to follow storywise before trying to make it into an animated series from scratch.

I'm not entirely sure if this topic belongs here or in manga discussion since there usually has to be a manga before there is an animated series. In either case, there are sometimes established anime universes with loads of creative possibilities which for some reason are neglected and never used for any story angles. I can think of two in particular that I could see a lot of potential with. I would even have half a mind to actually volunteer as a writer to try and make these canon just to experience the joy of seeing it ( if I had the power to do so ). If anyone sees titles mentioned here that they have never watched, I encourage you to skip over those and read about the next title ( and so on ) to avoid any spoilers. GTO - "Great Teacher Onizuka" My Idea For a Followup Sequel Premise: If I understand correctly, GTO itself was actually even a sequel/spinoff to some earlier works written by the manga author that featured the titular character before his career as a school teacher. For some reason this is just the one that made it big, kinda like "Star Wars" with its Galactic Civil War story arc in the original film trilogy. Anyway... Following the events at the end of GTO, Onizuka begins competing in a vicious underground bike racing circuit in which participants are allowed and encouraged to cheat and use dirty fighting to win ( a la "Road Rash" ). After Onizuka fled Japan in GTO, I remember it being unclear whether Onizuka was residing in California or Hawaii but, the scenery looked more like Southern California; I'm sure the manga is probably more detailed with that information ( haven't read it ). Even though this is a rather foolhardy thing for Onizuka to do after just escaping from hot water in exile abroad, this is something which actually would not be out of character for him to do. "You're Under Arrest" My Idea For a Spinoff Premise: After leaving the precinct for more intense pursuits, Natsumi decides to give pro-wrestling a try for a little change of pace along the way, before reuniting with her old partner. She joins an all-female wrestling promotion and dons the in-ring gimmick of the "Big Boss Lady" ( <-- if anyone got that reference, please let me know ), wearing her old blue uniform shirt to the ring. A parody of GLOW ( "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" ) ensues. Somehow it seems that trousers would be more practical than a skirt inside the squared circle...hmmm. It would certainly look out of place for her to be wearing her flats to the ring...she might as well just be barefoot or in her stockings the whole time than that. A few details about the costume would probably need to be modified to make it look more natural for the setting. It's not that it couldn't be done the other way, I just wouldn't want it to be reduced to mindless fan service though. I welcome feedback. If anyone else has ideas for the aforementioned anime shows or for other additional ones, feel free to share them here. Discuss...
