The character portrayed by Matt Frewer on British television whose consciousness was transferred into an AI program following his fatal accident is possibly the most anime non-anime character ever. 1 - iKKM308.mp4

Me and my friend recently watched Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade, written by legendary Mamoru Oshii, which is based on his Kerberos Saga manga and media franchise. Strangely, he didn't direct it like he did Ghost In The Shell (apparently he was so busy working on the latter that he allowed his close protege to do the directing instead). Anyway, after finishing the film, we were left confused with a thought: Was it good? Did we like it? But the more we thought about it, we came up with our own answers: My friend didn't like it, citing that the forced "Little Red Riding Hood" metaphor throughout the entire film and flat characterization for the main characters didn't make him feel invested in the story at all. As for me, I did not dislike it, but I also didn't like it. But strangely, I couldn't say that I did not care for it. In the end, my feelings towards Jin-Roh was that "I wanted to like it". It has beautiful animation, music and overall great production values considering the time it was made and released, and there's obviously deep love and care put into making the movie. However, it is also one of those movies were unless you understand Japanese historical background (in this case post-WWII) and other cultural context not familiar to the western audience, you would be left utterly confused by it. We discussed this together with our acquaintance who recommended for to watch it so he can discuss his own thoughts about it with us: What did all of you think of Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade? Did you understand its message and theme better than we did? Or was it also confusing to you at times?

I hope I'm doing this right :3 Just finished Hakuouki Movie 1, and wow! It was pretty darn good! Now I want to see the series it's based off of! And the other films. I won't got into to much detail until the discussion starts, but I really liked characters. I also thought the atmosphere was really well developed! The pacing wasn't too slow, or too fast, so it was pretty easy to follow what was going on (though, the large cast made it a bit hard for me to remember everyone's names XD) Did anyone else have a chance to watch it today? What are your thoughts?

Sup ladies and gents, thought I'd get your opinion on the upcoming anime Sewayaki Kitsune No Senko-San. Originally, I started out reading the manga and I can't help the excitement I'm feeling for this show. I absolutely loved it's manga counterpart and can't wait to see Senko-San and all the other amazing characters come to life in the animation. I'm really hyped for this show and can't wait to see it in the form of an anime~! Anyways, how are you all feeling about it??

Hello All! I am looking for new stuff to watch from recent releases (Spring - Fall 2018). I have not been able to catch up with the new releases, aside from the obvious Goblin Slayer, and would appreciate new stuff. I am open to any genre. Thank you! PS: For anyone that is knowledgeable in anime expos, events, stores, etc: Any events occurring in Italy or England in the following months would help

I'm kinda bored, so let's try talking about facts and trivia throughout history shall we? I know it's weird, but 600,000 people died during the medieval times for being executed due to being "witches" which was not really true and just their beliefs..
