Anime Impulse, which is literally within my neighborhood. The big one is always Anime Expo, since I can drive to/from Downtown Los Angeles under one hour.

I can attest to recommendations, since Amazon has been doing it for me near-singlehandedly. In addition, I am seeking for manga series that do not induce arc fatigue.

Admittedly, within this decade alone, I notice KADOKAWA has earned itself as THE Isekai Studio within the anime business. Prior to KADOKAWA, I did receive the impression that Tatsunoko has a heavy superhero influence, courtesy of its founders, growing up reading American comic books. Toei and Sunrise are two of the most prolific studios that handle mecha. Feel free to share your impressions of individual studios.

Digimon Adventure tri.: Loss has been officially announced. February 25, 2017. The fact that Agumon and Gabumon are no-shows already scream certain things. Also, Mutsumi Tamura and Junya Enoki appeared at the Hiroshima screening of Confession.

I consider this a collective achievement for the entire Digimon fandom when the "Popular Uploads" section of Toei Animation's Official YouTube Channel exclusively has Digimon Adventure-related trailers as its Top 5.

Another thing that bugs me is how the former Dark Spore children are still MIA.

I've noticed that every ED song foreshadows a story element in the sequel film. I Wish pertains to Meiko's acceptance into the 1999 group. Seven foreshadows which partner Digimon will be infected. I'm not making comments about 「僕にとって」 yet, because we all still haven't seen Confession.

Now that it's revealed Meikuumon is the carrier of the infection, I wonder what's the secret Maki is withholding with the agency.

If that were true, then I hope Toei Animation just flat out revoke the license from Saban as punishment. As a Digimon fan, I do not want to see 3rd party licensees get too much power over an intellectual property they did not create from the very beginning. Case in point: Harmony Gold USA and Macross. Harmony Gold USA is now being blamed for why Macross will NOT show up in Super Robot Wars V, especially when the company DID singlehandedly deny the US release of the entire SRW Alpha saga. I swear, even Saban has ZERO videogame rights for Digimon and yet, the fact no XROS Wars videogame came out of Japan makes me suspicious too. Heck, they're even credited on the Digimon Heroes app as SCG Characters LLC. Even then, Saban better let Bandai Namco use Adventure as THE Digimon representation for Project X Zone 3, especially when Digimon IS a Bandai Namco franchise. At the end of the day, Saban's best move would be not to become Harmony Gold USA 2.0; it's bad for business AND it's a franchise killer. All of Saban group know this. The fans know it.
