Recently started binging One Piece and am currently on the Warship Island Arc. While I'm not enjoying this current filler arc right now. Everything prior to this I've really enjoyed and am super excited to where it goes.

When your're watching a 1000 episode anime but it isn't hard enough.

Death Note is definitely a contender for beating the original. L's voice is other worldly.

Unpopular opinion but the second half of Death Note's soundtrack (in particular the opening and outro) is in my opinion more enjoyable than the first.

They sound like lovely people...

I don't entirely understand people's points when they explain watching dubs as not being a true anime fan personally, Glad to know someone agrees.

Hope this is okay to post here, looked for similar topics but was unable to find any. If mods are unhappy with this post feel free to remove Simple question... Do you prefer to watch your anime Subbed or Dubbed? I'm going to admit, I think I'm apart of the very small minority that actually prefers to watch their anime dubbed. Personally for me, after 3 or 4 episodes of watching subbed anime my brain starts to get fed up of reading subtitles. However when I watch Dubbed anime, I feel it's a lot easier to binge watch and turn my brain off; one instance of this happened recently while watching Monster. I understand that realistically Subbed is clearly better, I just prefer watching dubbed as it feels a lot easier and relaxing.

I am one of the many people who attempt to binge watch One Piece and end up quitting by episode 30 right here. But aside from that, just started watching Monster, pretty fucking good to be honest.

Half way through season 2 AOT. While I loved season 1 and think it's not far off of being a masterpiece, this one seems far less intense. I think a lot of the plot twists are pretty cool but sadly not enjoying this as much.

Just finished rewatching Death Note. What an awesome anime! I see people's problem with the latter half, but to me it's still better than 90% of TV nowadays. The charecters are great. it's so fun and really cleverly written. Thank you Death Note for being my introduction into anime. 10/10

Finally took it upon myself to start One Piece and I'm loving it so far! Will I catch up? Probably not. Do I care? Absolutely not! Am I lying? (Just in case you couldn't tell, I mean yes. Everyone knows the funniest jokes are the ones you have to explain.)

Demon Slayer (Season 1) - This took a while for it click with me, but when it did, it was awesome. While I find some of the humour that's incorporated in the show through some episodes ruin the tone of the anime, the other episodes are just too good to give this any lower than a 7/10. I'm not the biggest fan of the art style in some scenes, but hey that's just my personal opinion. Best Episode: Episode 19 Worst Episode: Episode 11 Overall Rating: 8/10

Currently watching Demon Slayer (around episode 9). I find the story sort of interesting however I don't think it's entirely my thing.

Hi everyone, I was looking through the forums last night and from what I can see there aren't really any proper reviews thread on this site. (If I'm mistaken than mods feel free to delete this thread). Anyway the idea of this topic is to leave as many reviews as you wish about the last anime you watched and what you thought about it personally. Attack On Titan Season 1 (2013) - I gave the first four episodes a watch a while ago and enjoyed it quite a bit, but I wasn't entirely sure on why it was surrounded by so much hype. However recently I decided to go back and check out the rest of the season and HOLY SHIT IT WAS GREAT! I finally understood where everyone else was coming from. Each episode has an awesome cliffhanger that makes it nearly impossible to not watch the next episode straight away. I thought a lot of the characters were pretty cool and memorable and while I'm not usually a massive fan of pure-action anime this is an exception. Only slight issue I have with this season is that It did feel a bit reptitive after a while and that it dragged on slightly. Favourite Episode: Episode 25 Worst Episode: Episode 16 Overall Rating: 9/10

Just reached the half way mark to season 1 of Attack On Titan, some really great stuff mixed with a lot of awesome action scenes.
