I finished season one of Genshiken earlier and was curious to hear if anyone knew what the fake anime, kuijiun/kujibiki unbalance, they watch in it is referencing? It feels like a mix of a lot of series from around the time that I know of but I haven't been able to think of any that it *definitively* feels like. Curious because at times that show seemed more interesting than the one I was watching, lol. And yes I know they made that into its own series a little later but it seems different enough from the version presented in the anime to warrant asking for what it could have been referencing.

Hello, I am Patti. I am an otaku of over a decade but this is my first try at an anime forum. I am a college student and my campus currently lacks an anime club but I still want the chance to talk to people without having to make the club myself. I hope to meet people here who I can share my thoughts and love for anime with. Outside of animanga I also have a deep love for comics theory and tokusatsu, and I try to work to publish zines/doujins, parodies and original works. Thank you all for having me.
