yeah bro i love satoshi kon, i think his style of editing is ground breaking, additionally he makes psychological anime scarier than hollywood horrors unfortunately ive seen all of his stuff

for those of you who have seen this anime, I was wondering why there were two english names for it. in the op it says 'recommendation of the wonderful virtual life' but I have also seen it being called 'recovery of an MMO Junkie'

seen it, but those are definitely up my alley gonna start with Kuuchuu Buranko then Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei followed by monogatari or that hella big movie set, thats like fate/stay finishing off with the girl with the blue eyes (third)

So basically I wanted to ask for any recommendations, I am very interested in pseudo philosophical and psychological sci fi. I loved Ergo Proxy, the project itoh movies and serial experiments lain. I also loved anime such as made in the abyss, welcome to the N.H.K, guilty crown, darker than black and overlord. Put simply I like non-meta anime whereby the anime feels like a product of the writer's vision rather than something the studio pushed to earn safe money. eagerly waiting :D
