  1. I've got two computers in my workstation space: Dell Optiplex 7020 - Intel Core i7-4770 @ 3.4Ghz (4 cores), 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD + 1 TB SSHD, Radeon RX 560 w/ 4GB VRAM Apple MacBook Air - M1 processor @ 3.2Ghz (4 performance + 4 efficiency cores), 16 GB RAM, 256 GB internal SSD + 1 TB external SSD I've mainly been using the MacBook Air as my daily driver ever since I got it, and have no complaints outside of needing to buy an external adapter to plug it in through my HDMI/USB KVM switch. As far as speed goes, this thing absolutely flies. The graphics performance is roughly on par with my PC's Radeon RX560, although admittedly most games that I've run on it so far are not M1 native.
  2. I've gotten sucked into watching quite a bit of anime recently after having been largely absent from it for over a decade, and have seen quite a bit that has been good. Here's a short sample of what I've watched recently: Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (one of the best written series ever, absolutely loved it) Your Lie in April (probably one of the best series ever made, shed plenty of tears) Erased (enjoyed this immensely) Death Note (good, but gets a bit old once the schtick wears off) The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (by far the funniest anime I've ever seen) Toradora (cute romance story) A Silent Voice (great film, the story sticks with you for a while after watching it) Kuroko's Basketball (still watching it, not bad but so far not great either) My Little Monster (another cute romance story, probably the best first episode of any series ever) Got a lot more to watch, seems like there's been a ton of good anime that has come out within the last 10 years.
  3. If you haven't seen it, watch the original FMA series for a different take, like someone else suggested. Have you watched any other series other than FMA:Brotherhood? If not, some good ones to start with are Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Samurai Champloo. A few other series that are quite good as well, although it's been a while since I've watched any anime myself.
  4. I am Norn. I come from the planet Xdrspobupwe'sdes and I am here on a mission of peace. That, or I'm just currently bored and decided to relive some good times from the past by joining an anime forum. And my name isn't really Norn. Anyways, nice to meet you all.
