      You can control which events play audio alerts in the chat panel's options area - I typically leave it on, since it's a handy way to know if there's anything going on in the forum while multitasking.

      I had no idea the chat box has audio alerts! It doesn't seem to play them while I'm browsing on mobile

      ive only had sound notifications for chat from pc not phone and only when the forum main page is open in a different tab to the one I'm using , but like zoop said and I did you can disable them or select the ones you want
