Final Fantasy , one of gaming's greatest achievements.

If you're a gamer (and even if you're not) it's hard to go through life without at least hearing of a Final Fantasy game.

With so many titles in the collection and so many other games having links to the series it's hard to say that Final Fantasy isn't one of the largest franchises in gaming.

With it's many different titles and many different genres that the series has spread out to it's quite easy to find at least one that you will be fond of.

I myself have enjoyed many of the Final fantasy games but to this day I still cannot get over my number one Final Fantasy game and number one game over all Final Fantasy 7 (the original).

I enjoy the story , gameplay , characters and most importantly the Materia , I love my Materia.

What do you think about the Final Fantasy series as a whole , which is your favorite of the collection and why ?

Final Fantasy IV. Aside from being the only one I've played so far, I just don't think I could fall in love with any of the others as much as I've loved this one. Rydia <3 Cecil <3 Rosa <3 Random other characters <3:P I wasn't really into Square Enix's games til I played Bravely Default and fell in love with it!

I've always considered Final Fantasy games to be exceptional.

The first one I played was Final Fantasy VIII. I played the demo many times so I just had to have it ASAP. :P I enjoyed the "Gardens" and "SeeD" academies, a good adventure with Squall and Rinoa. As FFVIII was my first, I found it to be the most memorable so that's my vote.

I played FFVII shortly afterwards and found it more frustrating but enjoyed the story too. Ehh but FFIX I never played in full. It just didn't draw me in for some reason...? It's a game I would like to revisit one day.

Final Fantasy games I recall were notorious for being spread across multiple discs, from memory FFVIII was on 4 discs. All those FMVs, music and digital sound effects. Was surreal at the time. :)

My close second would probably have to be FF XIII-2. It started to go downhill on FFXIII but I felt it really picked up on XIII-2 with a strong focus on Serah.

Which reminds me I still need to finish XIII-3...
