The explanations range. Baby blanket from the home world, which is invincible but somehow can be sewn into a costume. Stretchy purple pants. Magic. Works in a secret lab and went unnoticed when he stole 3 million dollars worth of special chemicals to make a suit that apparently smells fantastic after three years. A multibillionaire made it. It's an alien and it's naked. Cooked it up in the garage. But from an objective standpoint, how many super heroes can you name who should not be able to wear clothes? Examples: Froppy from My Hero Academia is a frog girl. Don't frogs breathe through their skin? Beast Boy turns into animals of all sizes.
