TheDefiantPirate
Let me know what you think about this Toki o Kakeru Gamer: Aiko no Chōsen (時を駆けるゲーマー: 愛子の挑戦) - "The Gamer Who Leapt Through Time: Aiko's Challenge" Genre: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Adventure, Gaming Plot: Aiko Tanaka is an ordinary high school student by day and a passionate gamer by night. Her world turns upside down when she discovers an ancient console in her grandfather's attic. Upon connecting it to her TV, she is transported to a mysterious realm where she meets an enigmatic figure known as the Chrono Keeper. The Chrono Keeper reveals that Aiko has been chosen to embark on a perilous quest through various time periods. Her mission is to locate and retrieve sacred magical objects hidden within significant historical events. These objects possess immense power and, if collected, can prevent a looming catastrophe threatening the entire timeline. However, there’s a catch: Aiko cannot alter the course of history. She must navigate these events as they unfold, using her gaming skills to overcome challenges and solve puzzles. Each time she successfully retrieves an object, she is transported back to her present, earning a video game score based on her performance. This score allows her to purchase new equipment, abilities, and hints for future missions. Aiko is granted three lives for each historical event she visits. If she loses all three lives, someone she knows will be erased from the timestream, raising the stakes of her quest. Additionally, Aiko must blend in with the time period she visits, or risk being attacked as a "witch" and losing a life. A unique side effect of each life lost, whether Aiko succeeds in her mission or not, is a change to the world. These changes can be anything from magic becoming real to the appearance of magical creatures. For example, her friend Sora might suddenly transform into a centaur. Each new change remains, and once Aiko collects all the artifacts and stops the calamity, she has the power to pick and choose which effects to reverse or keep. As Aiko progresses through her quest, she unravels a larger conspiracy involving the sacred objects and their true purpose. The final revelation ties her journey back to her own time, where she must use everything she’s learned to confront the ultimate threat and save the timeline from destruction. Once the calamity is averted, Aiko has the power to choose which changes to the world she wishes to keep, balancing the benefits and consequences of each decision. Wickett
I like it, actually. Definitely pulls from multiple successful storylines that have been used in the past but sounds original enough to me. I agree that an underlying theme involving the sacred objects is definitely a good idea, and I think it would work well if presented similarly to Shadow of the Colossus in that you have a nagging feeling all the way through that something isn't right. Any chance you'd have the desire to make one of the final characters that can be learned about more the grandfather? Could be cool.
The Bird lol
You should add military aspects to this, for example soldiers/and/or monster(ex. goblins) try to take the MC’s power and abilities

Yeah Maybe The Relics actually cause the catastrophic event or something and who knows maybe the grandfather is one and the same as the Chrono Keeper And maybe the one causing the catastrophe as well that would be good Thinking on it I Have decided that The Catastrophic event would be called the Chrono Collapse where all of time gets plunged into a state of flux where different periods would be cris crossing with each other Samurai running into modern soldiers Achinent Romans ending up on the Beaches of Normandy ETC The relics being brought together causes the Collapse so during the final confrontation she must destroy the relics to return the time periods back to normal I am also thinking this takes place in a Futuristic Cyberpunk Setting

TheDefiantPirate
I have a couple more ideas as well though I would not say either are as fully formed 1: a Steampunk adventure where the Main character is trying to figure out Mysterious blueprints left by her father (Yes all of my main characters are going to be girls) a Greedy Coal Mine Magnate Wants to capture these blueprints as the device that is drawn upon them is said to be a source of infinite power he wants to use it to make Robot miners that never have to quit mining and leave the rest of humanity to suffer while he hoards the power for himself 2: A Magical Girl Anime Set in the Golden Age of Piracy with a crew of Female Pirates looking for rare magical treasures to help them grow more powerful so they can protect the weak and the innocent while the Imperial Navy tries to stop them They are pirates however and they will steal but they only Steal from Those that have way to much wealth and give it to those who are in need being more nautical Magical Robyn Hoods rather than True Pirates though they will still have rival Pirate crews to deal with as well they hope that the artifacts will lead them to the Celestial Sea where infinite wealth and Resources await the crew that finds it will be able to shape the future of the world (With this one I really am trying to keep it separate from One Piece because well Obviously but still want to capture the Rebellious nature of Pirates [And Overtaken/Drums of Liberation] I am a one piece fan sue me!)
