Witchcraft and Magic

So let's discuss all things magical in real life.

Anyone else here ever practice witchcraft?

Psychic powers?

Hold a séance or summon something in the bathroom mirror?

Want to?

What did you do?

What did you want to do?

Who are your favorite witches,  wizards, magical girls etcetera in real life or fiction?

Do you not believe in it and if not, why not?

Well, I'm really into witchcraft and paganism, but I've never actually done anything and I'm not sure what deity to work with, so I'll probably try pop culture paganism at some point.

First off it's not paganism. See the Christians are the blaspheming pagan heretics because, well, we're right and they're wrong. Most don't even know Jesus's actual name.

As for a good starter god...

I always recommend Tiamat, mother of all gods and monsters and Avatar of Primal Chaos. First come first served and all that. Because I worship her.

She can be pretty intense though and understanding her usually requires quantum physics.

The Loa of voodoo are often fun to work with and Ezrulie is fairly easy going so long as you do the rituals properly.

Palaestra isn't bad if you're into physical exercise.

The Morrigan if you're into vengeance.

Kwan Yin is beloved the world over.

There are eight million Shinto gods to choose from.

If you want protection from demons Serket the scorpion goddess is a good choice. She scares Set and he starts the day punching a giant snake in the face.

What are you looking for in a deity?
