Nice to meet you all I'm new to this site and don't know much about these forum stuff (i hate reading). Here are some of the things about me, Favorite anime: still don't have a favorite one but I love these anime - Your name, Darling in the Franxx, Konosuba, Violet Evergarden, Heavenly Delusion. Genre types I like: comedy, romance, adventure, ecchi (i'm not a pervert OK) Genres I don't like: action, gore, fantasy, mythology, etc. (it's not like I hate to watch anime with those genres obviously I love some of them like Attack on Titan, it's like I preffer to watch anime more like calm and not seriously going deeper into bla.bla..bla...) About my username: of course it's not my real name. It's the name of the protagonist in Konosuba one of my favorite anime series. Other things I love: I love to play single player games and code. So if you read about me this far, thanks I appreciate it One question, am I allowed to talk about anime piracy here? I know we should "help the creators" but I'm broke I can't spend more money on a streaming service that have many better alternatives already available for free. I would not risk this site's legal standing by sharing any piracy links, but I know the struggle. I tend to watch anime in various ways and then support creators by saving up for box sets. It also emphasizes the need/want for physical copies of media in this rapidly digitizing world where everything is simply temporarily licensed to you. When we have Blu-ray and DVD we can loan anime legally to friends, and the thing those companies all forget is that sharing the anime love means more fans who eventually buy more stuff! Yeah guess I should keep the piracy talk to myself (even though I'm watching one rn ) But you're absolutely right, most of my friends don't want to take the first step because legal streaming is so expensive. Even if we pay for a one, many anime are missing in their libraries and most of the time only with japanese dub. For half of price we could just buy an unlimited data package and download whatever we want via torrent. As long as there are seeders you're good to go +"no country restrictions" Thanks for the recommendation!
