I want to cosplay

Hey. I'm not a complete beginner as I have done a few cosplays before.

But in every cosplay there is something missing I think. I want to do a proper cosplay of a guy character with the make up done and a wig or my hair styled. I tried styling my hair but its not working. And for make up I have never ever done it before so I am not even sure what to buy at 1st or anything. 

But its rly a dream of mine, so if anyone has any tips. Much apprechiated. ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶

I think I can help with the makeup type of thing!

I would usually purchase a concealer, whether it be a shade lighter or darker is up to preference - but definitely something that matches your complexion!

Then setting powder, I would place the concealer on my under eyes and blemishes, so its best to place A  LITTLE of the powder on those areas!

 MEGA MEGA MEGA CONTOUR!!!! that's a big factor in anime cosplays - it can help sort of frame your face (?) / sculpt it in a way that fits the character you're aiming for! like for example, under your cheekbones and defining your nose bridge for men, as well as under your chin to help give you that #chiseledjawline everyone loves!! ALSO DEFINITELY below your hair line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EYELASHES TOO!!!!! Maybe some eyeliner too!! But just some mascara would work! You probably already have mascara, so just play around with your lashes to get that ultimate wisp!!

Some powdered blush perhaps? The amount tends to be preferential but I like only applying it on my upper cheekbones (maybe like a little brush over if that makes sense)?

DEFINITELY EYEBROWS!!! Make them bigger!!! Id use an eyebrow pencil and draw hair like strokes up so it looks bigger!! also some gel??! MAKE SURE YOU CHISEL AND MAKE SHARP!!! if its a softer male, try doing it like you always do - maybe a shade darker because anime characters almost always have darker eyebrows? OR MAYBE THE SAME SHaDE AS THE WIG EEEKKK!!!

basically, follow regular makeup routine but CHISEL YOURSELF INTO ULTRA MEGA CHAD LOL

This is a good tutorial for his eyes which is what you want to heavy focus on for someone like him:

 

 

And you'll want to use a lot of lighter makeup choices to make your face much lighter in color. You might also want to use some wax to sharpen out the nose which this is a good tut for that as well as how to blend it:
