thedjc Posted June 18 Share Posted June 18 Recently heard a song over the speakers at a mall and it triggered a nostalgia memory. Kinda sad song, chorus has the words "meant to be" in there. Pretty sure it was the opening/ending of a toonami or adult swim anime I saw as a kid(mightve come from somewhere else, but its at least in the early/mid 2000's time range) but im drawing a blank. Probably been 20-25 years since i first heard it.This isn't something I watched often, so im assuming its from a series that had a short run or a movie, but I've looked through all the toonami and adult swim shows from back then and can't find it. Could've been from some other TV channel. I know syfy and fuse had an anime block for a short time but the only things I remember from them was gundam 00 and ergo proxy, and the song doesn't come from either of them. It might be from some random dvd I found in the dollar general bin as a kid that i watched once, or it might not even be from an anime at all and my brain could just be making up a false memory Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Haven't found the song yet, but i think its the same vocalist that did Rise from ghost in the shell(or someone who sounds very similar).
