Cy~ Posted July 3, 2017 Share Posted July 3, 2017 Are there any characters in anime that inspire you? Is there a single character or maybe a few characters that somehow impacted you in real life? Are there any characters that you aspire to be more like? Or, maybe you simply have a character that you believe stands head and shoulders about the rest. This topic is a place to share any and all anime characters that you have found inspiring (in any way). For myself, when I think of an anime character that has inspired me, the first one that comes to mind is Balsa Yonsa from the Moribito series. Her personality actually reminds me of my own, but her strength, skill, commitment to principles, and overall badassery are actually things that I feel inspired by. Imogen Posted July 3, 2017 Share Posted July 3, 2017 I have a few! Skip Beat's Kyoko Mogami was a character I was instantly drawn to for inspiration. I'd been in her shoes, where I supported guy(s) in their dreams only to have them cut me out of their life once they'd spread their wings and no longer felt they needed me. Without too many spoilers for anyone who might be interested in the story, I always admired her work ethic and bull-like stubborn attitude to achieve her goals. Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sailor Jupiter, Erza Scarlet, and Birdy the Mighty (among many others) also inspire me - I love women in anime who are feminine yet tomboyish in attitude. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
