1. I'd rank myself in the 4-6 range. I can be outgoing when I need to but I prefer to keep to myself.
2. Just wanted to report back and say I'm very happy with the change! Thank you!
3. If Miyazaki movies count then Howl from Howl's Moving Castle. If not probably either Kyoko Sakura or Sayaka Miki from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I like a lot of characters in anime though and my favorite changes depending on what I'm watching at the time.
4. It's alright. I'm not a huge fan of any major food chain as I prefer to support local businesses. That said, when I was younger the stuffed crust pizza was my birthday dinner of choice every year from Pizza Hut. I'm still a sucker for stuffed crust pizza. I don't care if it's like ~5 extra for basically mozzarella sticks in the crust - it's just too dang good!
5. I'm not in classes any more but the public library was pretty much my home when I was in school. Even now if I need a place to do some quiet research it's the first place I think to go. Home is my second choice but there are so many distractions (cats, computer games, various chores)
6. Excited. It's my birthday today so I'm prepping to go out for some drinking debauchery!
7. I love your name and your avatar awwww I'm going to die from the kawaii~~

8. I'd actually like my waifu to not have a chat box at all. I like having her but that chat box just takes up so much space. If it were just her I don't think I'd have any problems.
9. I voted for sub but honestly I would like if the dubs were better. Occasionally anime has slow points that I want to do chores or play Animal Crossing while I listen. But more often than not the dubbed voices are grating or just don't seem to fit either due to verbiage changes or the voice does't fit the character's look or personality at all.
10. My husband stopped watching Inuyasha for that reason and I'm pleased to tell you he and I just watched all of it thanks to a recent season that was released and wrapped everything up! For me : Naruto, DZB, One Piece, Fairy Tail all because they're way too long especially if they aren't complete yet. Panty and Stocking because even though I like the art and idea it's just too gross. Attack on Titan because I don't care about the characters that have been the focus lately. Log Horizon for a similar reason. There was a fantasy anime I can't think of the name of that had some magical girls (usually my favorite) but it had way too much fan service. I also quit Scrapped Princess. It's super great but once you kinda get what's going on it's very preductable.
11. Is it wrong that I think Potato Girl? Her episode of when she lived in the woods really solidified her as the best to me and honestly I just think her past makes her the most sexy.
12. Aside from anime, what else do you like to do in your spare time?
13. It looks great! I probably won't see it in theaters (very expensive and a movie has to be something special for me to see it in a theater) but I'll definitely watch it when it comes to Red Box. I don't consider myself much of a pegasister since the show hasn't really held my interest since somewhere in season 3 but the animation looks great and watching an ~hour 1/2 story that's sure to be good is definitely something I can do.
14. It's the first car that made me actually care about cars. Other than how easily it eats gas and how paranoid I am over every little ding (and it's not cheap to fix! dang, I got an estimate for a few knicks and it was almost $3000 to repair the paint job and the car really looks great as it is!) I absolutely love it. Driving through the rockies with the top down is always a fantastic weekend.
I know, right? Zoop's finger skills make me feel random feelings of happiness as well. Only, I'm not joking.
Bow-chika-wow wow???

1. Cy~

Cy~

Zoop is a wonderful creature. She literally brings me happiness, lol.

2. Cy~

Clearly, I was referring to her writing skills, though.

16. Your score: 321 CPM (that is 64 WPM) Your score beats or equals 83.76% of all. Not great but I've had a few to drink so I guess not bad.
17. My list changes pretty often but thinking about it right now... 1. Who can you relate to the most? Kyoko Mogami from Skip Beat because her determination and will. 2. Who would be your best friend(s)? Saki Hanajima from Fruits Basket because I really just like girls that are kinda mellow and gothic. 3. Who would be your crush? Yuuko from xxxHolic. Who couldn't love a space time witch with a sense of humor?
18. I'm not sure this needs a spoiler but I'll do it anyway -
Mami's death was probably the first to hit home with me - when it came to magical girl anime especially I had come to expect for the most part light hearted and fun where the main characters could make it out of any sticky situation because magic and friendship! Even though I was told to expect something dark when I had this anime recommended to me, I certainly didn't think dark to the point of death. It was a shock to me to see her actually die, and right after a fantastical battle scene no less. In any other show she would've had the fight in the bag.
19. It's tough for me to say. I guess if I just don't "feel" it in the first couple episodes. I might say that things like excessive body parts that make me question who the character can even properly function is one of the big ones - so most ecchi is on that list. Of course that said once in a while if that's kinda the joke for a comedic anime it's alright. Again, I guess it just depends on how it's presented or how I feel. Terrible stories or characters are killer though. I don't care how pretty an anime is, if the story is too predictable or boring or confusing I just can't watch it (unless it's an artsy film, I'll make exceptions for those). And if the characters are overly stereotypical and don't have a quality I can appreciate then it's hard for me to watch anime if one or more of those characters are a main character.
20. My husband for one. I wouldn't have married him if I didn't. My story isn't as awesome as Cy's but it's still something people think is interesting - we met at Gamestop while we were both working there. We started playing D&D with the group of people that worked there and I quickly realized how different he was from the other guys. At the time my husband had foot surgery done and even though he could barely walk he still insisted on both going to school and working to pay his way through school (which is something I was also doing. I actually worked full time at a grocery store year round and Gamestop seasonally to make ends meet for myself) One of the guys would literally move state to state to dodge his credit debts and most of the others were living with their parents/grandparents and being ungrateful at the gift of free lodging (the guy who lived with his grandma I had dated and twice a week I would go to her house between classes and help her with chores in exchange for lunch while my then boyfriend sat around playing games and complaining when she asked him to do something she didn't want me getting hurt over - like clearing the gutters. He did not pay her rent and she offered to pay for his college courses if he decided to take them, which he refused) Anyway, that got longer than I expected. TLDR; my husband showed that he had a great work ethic and made strides to achieve his goals despite excuses such as surgery and college where other eligible candidates faltered. I'm very happy with the choices I've made and I'm happy that he's agreed to them (I asked him to marry me because who says women can't ask men?) and I'm happy with the choices he's made and I think together we can build a very wonderful life. Aside from that, I really admire my parents despite that I disagree with a lot of what they do. They both showed me some qualities I think are "good" and those are the qualities I try to imitate in my daily life. I don't think I could ask for better parents. They were/are tough but fair.
21. I have a few! Skip Beat's Kyoko Mogami was a character I was instantly drawn to for inspiration. I'd been in her shoes, where I supported guy(s) in their dreams only to have them cut me out of their life once they'd spread their wings and no longer felt they needed me. Without too many spoilers for anyone who might be interested in the story, I always admired her work ethic and bull-like stubborn attitude to achieve her goals. Revolutionary Girl Utena, Sailor Jupiter, Erza Scarlet, and Birdy the Mighty (among many others) also inspire me - I love women in anime who are feminine yet tomboyish in attitude.
22. Revolutionary Girl Utena who is also one of my idols.
23. Sorry if this has been done but I did a search and also checked the 3 three pages of this subforum and didn't find it. But I want to copy from other folks and find out who's everyone favorite red haired anime characters! I'm a redhead myself and I love SO MANY red haired anime characters, but I'll limit mine to one. I love Erza Scarlet. Plus you get to see her in a ton of different gear which is awesome.
24. Excited! Most of my coworkers (including myself) have a birthday this week! We're going to have so much cake. And the 4th of July to boot. Very excellent week for me. I'm in high spirits.
