Hello all, and thanks for stopping by.

The AF team has been in the works of coming up with some fun activities for everyone here in the community. The one that keeps coming up is Contests aka compositions of skill as well as creativity. We are going to kick of the Halloween festivities with a anime character drawing contest in which everyone can take part. Though we don't want to stop there. We would like everyone to give us suggestions on what they would like to see in the future. We are of course always open to new exciting ideas as we want to make AF the best, most fun place on the web.

We will be posting the first few contests in the chit chat forum as a pinned topic for the duration of the contest then once the contest is over we will unpin, and lock the top, but of course it will still be available as a read only topic. If you guys would like to see a contest section don't worry as the idea is already in the wors, but we want to see some turn over of contests, and people taking part before doing this of course. If it is not already on the tables, a writing contest would be interesting.

Of course, to make things fair, there should probably be a common topic for such a contest.

Funny that you mention that as we have talked about a creative writing contest idea for the near future. I do agree that it would need a common topic sorta like a fan fiction contest.
