drill
Do you use the built in new tab page for your browser? If so, what browser do you do that with? For me, I use Chrome, and I think the built in new tab page is pretty bland and not very useful at all. Currently, I use an extension called Start - A Better New Tab. It's extremely customizable, and has a ton of features that makes it really useful. Specifically, having direct access to all of the chrome:// pages, as well as listing bookmarks, weather, most visited sites, integration with Google calendar, etc.

Optic
I feel old school... I actually prefer a blank page when a new window/tab opens and use the Bookmarks Bar below the address bar.
