Tree fell on our internet line ... I think the internet may not like me very much :'( it's back up now ... speed isn't great though.

Volatile environment! Do you have cellular Internet (e.g. on your Smartphone) to tether from as a possible backup?

We have a cell tower near by but my area has always had a bad connection (and tall trees) , in addition my phone recently broke and I have started to use my grandmothers old Windows phone ... I am still adjusting.
Also I don't get much data on my cell contract , though I have mountains of call time.
