Continued working through Dark Cloud in Muska Lacka today. The dungeon is starting to have annoying limited zones with weapon experience reduction and only the character Goro being usable. This has led to needing to redo a couple of floors but overall progress has been alright. Trying to get more weapon attachments is the focus now that I have managed to get some weapon repair kits.

Definitely a fun game! I only played through it one time years ago but I need to go back and do the sidequests and stat maxing one day. You will have to let us know which GFs and characters you main as you end up progressing.

I have been working through Dark Cloud lately. Today I made some more progress with the fourth city, Muska Lacka, and got some more weapon progression with a couple of characters. The dungeon for the area has been fun so far with great farming opportunities for repair kits. But inventory space and resource management continue to be the biggest obstacles in the game.

Hey, happy to be here! I have been watching anime since age two so saying I am a lifelong fan is an understatement. My earliest anime memory was back with Mobile Fighter G Gundam and soon Dragon Ball Z followed behind it. My prime with anime was the big three with Naruto becoming an all-time favorite, but my fellow anime fans in person that I knew growing up all moved on from anime which led me here. It is easy to find mainstream fans, but where are the Kiba, not Inuzuka, fans? Where is someone to talk to about the insanity that was Hellsing Ultimate? The hidden gem of Senran Kagura? Or the untapped potential of Xenosaga? I took pride in watching anime nobody heard of when I was younger but now that the people I knew for the mainstream topics are out of touch, I had to journey to a place to discuss these topics and more. It is not all classics and obscure anime though. I am eagerly awaiting the next batch of English Dub Boruto episodes this month. While at the same time, I am waiting for Cour 3 of English Sub Bleach TYBW sometime next year. So whether it is me pondering if more Triage X episodes will be made, or shaking my head at the delay of Dragon Ball animating the Moro arc, I look forward to sharing those thoughts and hearing new ones with all of you!

I have been watching Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu lately. I don’t watch the slice of life genre much but this one has been somewhat enjoyable. It follows kids who are animal detectives but interestingly enough, this show plays out everything episode by episode. Meaning the pacing is incredibly slow and while other series would start with the detective club already formed and reveal the rest in flashbacks, everything is shown from the beginning here so far back that the focus of the show is not in view for a while. That being said, the writing is very good for the characters. I would have thought the kids would get annoying being the main characters but it does work. The kids can transform into animals with an odd device which is the unique hook of the show. There is some type of progression system in play to this while at the same time, the antagonists can naturally transform. I am still watching so I am not sure how the show ends up, but I am a little over a third through it and still having a good time. Nagisa steals the show and while some of the future plot twists I see are incredibly obvious, most are completely hidden. I have been very impressed with this one!
