  1. An artist~!! Sorry for this random post, but I always get excited when I see an artist sharing drawings. If you don't mind me asking, what application do you use to draw? I'm more of a traditional artist myself ^^

Ya know, all this talk about stats made me imagine what would happen if people had skill trees. I wonder what they would look like for some of my friends hahaha

well well... looks like you need to take on the big bang burger challenge! (raise that Guts stat!) In all seriousness, I think I get you. I usually use a lot of emoticons and stuff online and am super friendly to every one, but I'm more reserved irl. Do you have an idea of why you're scared of some people?

hahahha aww, that's somehow super relatable ^^ dun worry~ it will become a good memory in the future! That and it was your entry into the art world! I think every one has their own starting point. (mine was some super emo anime stuff lol)

(lol close enough) GAH STAHP I'M BLUSHING. >///< Thank you for saying that tho -- I always am so happy when someone else looks at my art work and tells me I didn't royally screw up proportions. As for the hand... THANKS. They usually don't turn out like that. I just get lucky sometimes

AHHHHHH YESSS. I am totally in agreement. I love Atlus with all my heart. The Persona and SMT series tend to have deeper storylines that make me think about the way the world works. Plus, the art work is beautiful. I have to say, they really really hit the nail on the head with Persona 5. That game is polished and so well thought out. I really love it. tbh I get you - after playing P5, it would be totally worth it to buy a PS4. On that note... who did you pair your MC with?

I feel that trying to draw without using a guide helps the artist tho. It really makes him or her be more creative overall, in my opinion because all of those poses come straight from the person's mind and later on, when he or she learns how to draw proportions and stuff, ideas still come as easily and there is no reliance on outside resources (wordy af lol sorry)

you're scared of deviantart...? well well, it is time to level up those stats then hahaha.

hahah, that's okay :) I have drawn some nsfw stuff also and sometimes, those are some of my favorites lol. an alien? that's pretty creative!

welp. it might be to cut down on like.... inappropriate messages?

wow! High praise! Thanks so much~ :) I think his proportions are a bit off, but my friend seemed to like it ^^ OOOOOH he kinda does look like the protag from P5. One more thing -- YOU PLAY P5 OMG I LOVE THAT GAME AND HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME FAN OF THE PERSONA AND SMT SERIES sorry got too excited there

haha, yep that happens too! I have some projects that have been on 'hiatus' 5evar

oh my... that was so long ago! They're some nice pencil drawings :D

You should you should! There seems to be a lot of hobbyist artists on there and it is a nice community overall :) LOL what a reason... can't say I agree since my favorite color happens to be green~ even if I wear mostly black lol

(yessss you understand :D) okay~ every one is nervous their first time... sorry sorry. I think most people do classic collabs :) I imagine that if we were to collab, we would both want to draw a girl, amirite?

AH you can't make a link like that and not share it haha. I have some pretty embarrassing drawings from a couple of years ago lying in my room too. Ack hahahah

Okay :) I'll pm it to you then ^^ HM... nevermind. I'll attach it here since the message thing here doesn't seem to allow attaching photos? (or am I being stupid idk)

      alupacard

That's okay~ You can always finish it at another time :) sometimes art needs a little time before the artist can see improvements, right?

      Haha, yep that's the feeling!

Okay! I'm looking forward to seeing it :) I'm surprised you don't have a deviantart account!

I can understand that tbh, but need for any censorship with me. Anything goes really (and with my weird friends, I doubt much can surprise me lol). Yep... it is just a very strange concept. I tend to draw my girls slender so any kind of chest needs to be realistic at least lol

(I appreciate you playing along haha) Yep, panel collabs are kinda like... picture questionaires I guess? Most of them have prompts for each artist to draw on each side. More classic collabs are probably what you're thinking where artists basically split up the work for a piece ^^

Ah! I finished the piece for my friend ^^ I'll send it to you if you still want to see it

Hmmm, I think I didn't draw it because I actually didn't think of it... oops. BUT! Now if I draw a maid, I will try to draw that lace for sure. :) well, you know what they say -- Practice makes perfect ^^

Yep, it's been a while. Uni got pretty heavy so I only sketched on my notes at most haha. Oooh, yes, please send me a pic if you find them ^^ All of my traditionals are with my best friend. We drew together all the time so I gave her my sketchpad as a graduation gift

Never fear! I understand you when it comes to this hahaha. Maybe moreso since I am a girl lol. I think my girls would fall somewhere along C to D. Drawing F cups makes me think its not proportional. Haha, well I can tell you not to feel uncomfortable, but it's up to you :)

HAHA. I'll be gentle... Yay~! Collabs are super fun. I usually like doing those panel collabs or if it's those 'one person sketches  + inks and the other colors', I don't mind either role.

Actually, in the last maid piece I did, I don't think I gave her a lace headband...! I can draw ribbons, but I think coloring them so that they appear to be satin is difficult.

True true, I agree with taking time off. I didn't draw for like 3 years and I just recently started again. The last piece I did was a collaboration with my brother where he did the sketch and I inked and colored it.

ooooh, boobiez. I love drawing and coloring hair, but I actually like coloring the skin the best. I think most of the girls I draw have moderate sized chests. Aww thanks for the offer! Maybe we should do a collab one day ^^

Ahh, I see. Maids are fun to draw (not to mention, super cute). I do agree that their outfits are sometimes super detailed. But that lace tho... necessary.

Yep, taking time never hurts :) I think it's good practice to wait a day after sketching to see if the proportions make sense. I've been drawing traditionally for a while so maybe waiting a day to line is just for that bc there is no ctrl+z for that... Digital is definitely newer for me, but it's been fun to try out so far

I do agree :) Hair style and eyes are the most important to me bc those really reflect character for me. I also color them differently each time ^^

      Fair fair :)

aww okay, I see. It is nice that you want to draw something for your friend though. I'm sure he will appreciate it when you get around to it.

I seriously respect people who can draw OCs. All of mine generally have a theme and it takes me a long long time to get their outfits and facial expressions right without it becoming the same character over and over again just with different eye and hair color lol

Well, as long as you are happy, I think that's fine. :) On my old build, I could only max out at 30-40, but it was smooth enough for me.

I know what you mean. For me, I find it easier to encourage others and keep a positive view, but for myself, I expect the least so that I won't be disappointed.

I'm sure she won't :) Hm, maybe your best friend would like fan art? I know my best friend likes both OCs (when she requests them) or fan art of whatever she's into at the time. Really helps me with artist block

I see I see :) As a girl, I can agree that it takes a lot of work to maintain healthy long hair.

Your specs sound pretty good for must pc games nowadays. As long as it can handle 60 fps, I think it is more than good enough. Most monitors' refresh rates are this anyway. ^^

Haha, I like the positive attitude :) You're right. If I start doubting things in the middle, it won't help.

she's one of my closest friends, so if she doesn't like it... >:(

Feels natural for girls to have long hair?

Ohhhh I see. That makes sense and seems to be the way a lot of people start drawing and stuff. :)

Your specs are pretty good! Hmm, to cut costs with the i7, maybe consider one that can be overclocked but maybe is a little bit older? Ah yes... HDD isn't terrible in price nowadays bc SSD seems to have taken over.

hahaha, good one! lol it's a preference of mine to have a mechanical keyboard. Guess it is different for every one ^^

Lol set those expectations low ^^ Idk if I like the way it is turning out so far...

Yep... art takes a long time and looooots of effort ^^ but it is personal so I hope she likes it in the end :)

mhm, every one has a style of character that they feel that can draw the best :) I really like drawing long haired girls too! There is so much freedom in hair style and I just think they're adorable haha

Hey, that's not bad at all. Most of my drawings take longer than a day to complete (maybe bc i focus for like 6 hours and then have to so something else)

I know the feels of not being able to afford all of the parts for sure... It took forever for me to save up for my current gpu. ^^ what cpu are you aiming for for your build?

hahaha, aww thanks! No offense taken -- It is cool to meet someone here that knows about tech stuff. Man, I have to save up for a new case, but I ended up getting a mechanical keyboard instead. It's my baby tho <3

yep, that's the saying! Okay though :) I will show you when it is done. Ironically, I am working on a guy as a present for one of my friends ^^

Hmm. Maybe you are better at making "softer" characters? That's the way I like to think about my preference for drawing girls. Most of my male characters are generally the shouta type simply bc I can't seem to get cooler types right. Or... maybe because I'm a girl and know personally what we look like hahah

same same! It makes me really happy when I can draw something that looks right ^^ I also have problems with hands! Most of my drawings have simple poses and it take f o r e v e r to get it right.

oooh, I also do that. I might look like a crazy person, but it helps get things right.

niiiiiice. Have you built your own computer? I currently use a computer I built myself

sure sure :) I don't mind showing you, but it isn't done yet. I just put down the lines and some base coloring. do you want to see that or the finished thing?

oh nooo. it's a good thing you feel comfortable with digital art :) creating stuff is so much fun! What part do you like the best? I can't say I like lining much because I feel that the drawing comes alive when I color ^^

Yeeeesss. I am currently working on some art rn so I get that hahah

Your drawings are quite neat! I'm sure it wasn't bad lol, but every one starts somewhere ^^

Yeah, ofc I want to see it!

Yooooo same. I am the only one in my friend group irl that draws and I also wanted to make a game too! I tried making a point and click some years ago.

Hahah noted :D Just mentioned it in case it sounded creepy
